Examples of Powers of Aspect: Ascended heroes of Shade can use the powers of a Grimdark player freely while retaining their mental stability. They are the only ones who can be on friendly terms with the Outer Gods and can communicate with them freely.

Friendly is probably a strong term. I'm talking legit sit down and have a chat, we like this guy kind of friendly. And doesn't void only cover legit nothingness? Shade treats darkness like a physical manifestation, not emptiness.

Being able to control your grimdark at will is also hella OP. And one interpretation of void is darkness, since void and light are opposites.
