Physical appearance:

Taston stands at 5' 11" at a weight of 11.5 stone. He has an almost perfectly average frame with strong shoulder breadth and long skinny appendages. His horns are plain with no design, resembling thin needles that stick directly upwards on his head, average in length. His expression remains static for long periods of time, un-reactive to the situation around him making it difficult for others to judge how he is feeling. He usually remains with a passive stare and a blank expression. However whenever he is working on a task he frowns, his brow furrowing slightly in an annoyed expression. He tends to grin when around others in a non-stressful environment. He will walk and stand with his hands in his jacket pockets or with his arms crossed when around others. When not busy with a task he will stare in a random direction or at an uninteresting object while thinking to himself.

He regularly wears a long sleeved shirt, bearing his sign, under a unzipped, dark grey, hood-less wind breaker. He also sports light grey jeans and black boots. His black hair is short and a little bit messy, keeping it regularly cut as a substitute to brushing it. He walks in a low stride, usually slouching unless with others. All this combined leaves him not very interesting to look at, an intentional endeavour due to his dislike of being noticed in general.

Personality:

Taston's out look on life is hard to explain. If asked he would describe himself as a 'Pessimistic Optimist' or a 'Realistic Idealist' or some other manner of dumb nonsense. In truth he is just your common, by the books, cynical prick on the inside but instead of reacting to this sense of dread and inevitability with bitterness he sees it as freeing. Why worry about all the responsibilities of your Blood Caste when in a few billion years all life in the universe will be dead? Why worry about the shortness of a Maroon's lifespan when after you're dead you don't exist? This doesn't stop him from worrying of course, nor does it make him happy. However it doesn't make him sad either, most things become neutral in his eyes and roll off him as just another tough break or lucky score that requires acceptance.

He is unintentionally sceptical of most things, trying to keep his relatively high disbelief to himself in an attempt to not incite confrontation. However if forced out of him he won't lie about his suspicions despite what negative affects telling the truth might bring. He is a very private person, preferring to keep his deepest thoughts and feelings to himself at all times. This can lead him to be seen as a bit of a 'shut in' which is unfortunate as he would like nothing more for others to become invested in his opinions and personal philosophies.

In the rare occasions he finds himself in a social situation he will briefly come out of his shell despite his pretty solid record of introversion. Making jokes (however unfunny), participating in discussion (However unsuccessful) and trying to maintain an atmosphere of un-serious chatter. This social involvement never truly lasts however and eventually he will fade into the background once again. He tries not to get involved in the politics of the Caste system but he can't help himself from having a deep dislike of High Bloods. He's been threatened a few too many times too see everyone as 'deserving the benefit of the doubt'.

Typing Quirk/Color: Hemotypes (Hex colour: #990000), he often types with proper grammar and syntax. He does not use emoticons ever. He replaces B's and b's with &'s and places apostrophes one either side of n's. He tends to swear a lot and uses intentionally childish terms to amuse himself

Lusus: Always white. A medium sized Vulture. This Vulture often sits atop the roof of Taston's hive, staring down in judgement at any visitors and almost never moving. Though Taston has never witnessed it he sometimes hears his Lusus take off in flight to scavenge at night.
