Felise (The Cat Race)

Racial Name: Felise ('FEE-liss', singular is Feli 'FEE-lie')
Nick Names: Little bastards
Genders?: All human genders and prejudices are represented. Male cats are called Toms, while females are called 'Queens'.
Average Life span: They live up to 400 years in human years. However, they age much differently than humans, as their Planip Solar Claws (or simply, 'Claws') equal up to four earth years, so to them, they live up to 100 claws.

General Appearance: Felise are short, standing up to the waist of the average height, adult male. They resemble lanky, bipedal cats, with two thick antennae instead of the typical feline ears, as well as spiny whiskers, both of which can express how they are feeling. Since they are omnivores, they have sharp fangs, and small claws.

Face shapes, fur coloration and thickness, and tails tend to differ based on what breed they are, but all Felise share oval-shaped heads, large, almond-shaped eyes, and pale yellow sclera. Their, er, reproduction organs appear not to show up on their body.

Common Personality: They are identical in mindset to humans, but, it will not go without saying that they may act like their domesticated earth counterparts.

However, all individual Felise do share a ~~pawful~~ handful of traits, such as:
- Average to below average intelligence
- Gambling problems/strong belief in chance
- Short attention spans
- General assholery
- A fondness for fish (either as pets or food, mostly food)

Society: Felise are a civilized race with a culture that seems to be almost entirely imported from earth. However, there are many, many differences. For one, their society appears to be heavily chance-based, meaning economy is a little more than shitty. You will normally see parents taking their kids comics, games, or whatever to make money just so they can bet, or watch children in the streets playing marbles, or various other games of stakes. Yes, they appear to share an addiction to gambling, which can cause some problems with the wrong people.
There is an odd majority of Shanty towns, but even people living there seem quite all right with their living situation.

One major difference between humans and the Felise is that they do not have a nudity taboo. Male Felise may wear a top of some sort, but no pants. Females, however, are normally fully clothed, but there are those that also just wear a top, also.

Home Planet: Like their society, their planet, Planip, shares many attributes to Earth, like; earth-like atmosphere, climate, multiple biomes, and all that jazz. Their towns and cities seem to resemble many earth structures, like rural areas, suburbs, and what not. Their planet orbits another planet, but if you compare the two, the planet it is orbiting is a lot bigger than Planip. The planet is considered 'normal-sized', while the Felise refer to their own planet as the 'little guy'.

If you were to view Planip from a rocket in space, you would see it has mass of land that looks roughly like the cat emoticon [:3]. It seems out of place, seeing as other continents there look randomized like earth's. Two moons orbit their planet.

Relationships: They have quadrants, called 'Pawdrants', which are equivalent to Alternia's own system, but however, the mechanics may be different.

The Wild pawdrant is bestial attraction, and is shared by two consenting partners that show affections to one another.
Tame is like a comfortable relationship without much affection, like what cats have with humans. Kind of like a friendship quadrant, in a way.
Feral is a bestial retraction, the kismessitude to the Wild's matespritship.
And Stray is a term for like, a person being introduced into a friend group or family.

Reproduction They reproduce like normal mammals. 2-3 kittens are born in a litter, but there are circumstances where a mother will only birth one kitten.

Guardians: Guardians range from many types, to mothers, fathers, older siblings, aunts, uncles, etc.
Symbol Rules: Their symbols usually reflect many things, like hobbies, interests, and other things.

Naming Conventions: They usually have one name, which contains a cat pun. The number of letters vary.
Racial powers: They have no psionics to be spoken of.

- They have strong, powerful legs that help them jump to higher platforms with ease
- They can see easily in the dark
- The Felise are capable of breathing in space

Typing rules: Their text usually included cat puns, since it is normal in their language. Other than that, no quirks, and their text color always matches their eye color.

Other:

Their language, while it is a lot like English, includes cat puns. It is a norm, and this language is called 'Catonese'.

Your Feli can wear clothes, or go completely nude, nudity taboo does not exist on Planip, and their nether regions do not show. But their symbol needs to be shown somewhere, somehow.
