Post by Damnationsedge Thu May 21, 2015 1:52 am

I've finally managed to create a full set of combined Classes and Aspects. Putting them together here will simplify finding them and how they all interconnect.

First classes.

Name: Rebel
Meaning: Ignore (Active)
Role: Ignores his Aspect/Actively cancels his aspect.
What personality gets this class: Rebels tend to be anarchic and undisciplined.
Main Power Type: Cancelling their Aspects power on them and surviving without it.
Story Role: The Rebel helps his party by shaking off the shackles of their Aspect and becoming free from it thus forcing an alternative.
Challenge: Accepting that they could be wrong or that there needs to be a compromise in their beliefs.
Example: The Rebel chooses to avoid their Aspect and becomes its enemy (enemy, not opposite) thus cancelling it out. For example a Rebel of Void would confront Void such as deliberately telling secrets or unmasking hidden things.

Name: Exile
Meaning: Ignore (Passive)
Role:Voids his aspect/Passively escapes their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Exiles tend to be loners or feel they don't belong in some way.
Main Power Type: The Exile is void to their Aspect ignoring its effects on them.
Story Role: The Exile at first avoids long periods of connection with the party feeling uncomfortable with company and unhelpful to the group until they are accepted.
Challenge: Becoming Accepted either by the party or another group.
Example: The Exile escapes their aspect without intention. For example an Exile of Heart would have no sense of self or understanding of relationships or romance, they'd be completely none existent to them.

Name: Sleuth
Meaning: Discover (Active)
Role: Finds their Aspect/uncovers their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Sleuths tend to be no nonsense and a little obsessive with their work.
Main Power Type: Sleuths uncover aspects around them and use them to catch others out or reveal ulterior plans.
Story Role: The Sleuth is often untrusting and can be a hindrance in team work but is excellent at uncovering traitors or liars.
Challenge: Solving their mystery, there is always at least one big mystery set before a Sleuth. Their planet always has a large detective board somewhere.
Example: The Sleuth hunts down the trail of their Aspect. For example the Sleuth of Blood will follow the connections and obligations of others to uncover their mysteries and any secrets hidden in them.

Name: Novice
Meaning: Discover (Passive)
Role: Discovers their aspect/Reveals there aspect.
What personality gets this class: Novices are very inquisitive and often want adventure though are rarely suited for it.
Main Power Type: Once they've discovered their Aspect the Novice will start to see it everywhere.
Story Role: Novices begin with very little use but once they discover their Aspect they can find it almost all the time.
Challenge: Finding their Aspect, until they discover it there is no way to find out which it is.
Example: A Novice doesn't have any connection to their Aspect until they discover it (Usually by accident). For example a Novice of Mind wouldn't make choices or decisions until they discover one big one, after that they start to see choices everywhere.

Name: Strumpet
Meaning: Acquire (Active)
Role: Attracts their Aspect/Lures their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Strumpets tend to be shameless flirts and often use this to get what they want.
Main Power Type: Strumpets can make their Aspect come to them or grow.
Story Role: Strumpets tend to be trouble and can lure the party into listening to them making them a threat or an assistant to the leadership of the group, if they don't take the role themselves.
Challenge: Being sincere or actually falling for another, wanting whats best for another.
Example: The strumpet tries to make their Aspect come to them. For example a Strumpet of Rage will lure anger out of others or do her best to drive them insane.

Name: Countess
Meaning: Acquire (Passive)
Role: Given their Aspect/Treated to their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Countesses tend to be spoilt selfish and entitled.
Main Power Type: Countesses have their aspect come to them without them taking any action often causing it to well up at their whim.
Story Role: Countesses can be trouble since those around them are at constant risk of being a catalyst for their aspect or having it drawn from them without warning.
Challenge: Attempting to do something for themselves by choice.
Example: The Countesses Aspect is literally handed to them. For example the Countess of Doom would have others feel compelled to make sacrifices for her or even die for her.

Name: Djinn
Meaning: Trade (Active)
Role: Exchanges their Aspect/Bargains with their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Djinn's tend to be tricky and silver tongued but very possessive and materialistic.
Main Power Type: Djinn trade others their aspect for something in return.
Story Role: The Djinn can be very mercenary and sometimes seems to fall behind by giving away their aspect but can harvest a great deal of power when they need it.
Challenge: Granting something while expecting nothing in return.
Example: Djinns often grant their aspects in deals or exchange. For example the Djinn of Light would give knowledge or luck to others in exchange for some fair trade.

Name: Shaman
Meaning: Trade (Passive)
Role: Syphons their Aspect/Syphons others Aspects.
What personality gets this class: Shaman's tend to be weird and act in spooky manners.
Main Power Type: The Shaman constantly gives away their Aspect to their party or draws their parties Aspects to them, this can change at any time and for no reason at all.
Story Role: The Shaman can be as much of a hindrance as an ally. They can empower their allies almost constantly but leave themselves exhausted in power or take the Aspects from their allies on mass draining them to become far stronger.
Challenge: A Shamans challenge is more complex as they need to make sense of the things they do and why.
Example: A Shaman trades Aspects back and forth with seemingly random timing. For example A Shaman of Time would give the whole party time on occasion and take it away again later.

Name: Agent
Meaning: Serves (Active)
Role: Obeys their Aspect/Serves their Aspect
What personality gets this class: Agents tend to be devoted and fixated with little self interest.
Main Power Type: The Agent serves their aspect directly attempting to bring it power and enforce its rules.
Story Role: The Agent can seem very obsessive and overbearing putting their Aspect above everything.
Challenge: Realizing how to serve their Aspect without being controlled by this behaviour.
Example: The Agent follows their Aspect to the letter. For example the Agent of Life would be entirely focused on the natural order and the ways of life and never diverge for them or allow others to.

Name: Serf
Meaning: Serves (Passively)
Role: Lives under Aspect/Lives through their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Serfs tend to be obedient and a little drudging.
Main Power Type: The Serf serve their aspect without knowing it, its just their nature to obey it and follow it in everything they do.
Story Role: The Serf seems very passive, just doing what they feel is right and happy to help.
Challenge: To stand up for themselves and take their Aspect with control.
Example: The Serf lives and breathes their Aspect. For example a Serf of Breath only lives for freedom, if they can't have freedom they can't function.

Name: Addict
Meaning: Corrupt (Active)
Role: Corrupts with their Aspect/Corrupted by their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Addicts are quick to enjoy something and don't know when to stop.
Main Power Type: The Addict is constantly polluting their session with their Aspect, but they are being corrupted more than anything else.
Story Role: Addicts are often detrimental to the party once they're hooked on something.
Challenge: Overcoming their dependency both on their aspect and any other addictions.
Example: The Addict uses their Aspect to corrupt others while corrupting themselves. For example the Addict of Hope becomes obsessed with their own beliefs to a dangerous level and enforces this on others.

Name: Freak
Meaning: Corrupt (Passive)
Role: Corrupts their Aspect/Corrupts through their Aspect.
What personality gets this class: Freaks tend to be dangerous deviants without trying.
Main Power Type: The Freak corrupts their Aspect through the entire session causing it to then corrupt the session itself.
Story Role: Freaks are almost universally dangerous to everyone, if lucky they're a little more dangerous to foes than allies.
Challenge: Create something pure or purify something corrupted.
Example: The Freak corrupts the nature of their Aspect throughout the entire session as well as things it effects. For example a Freak of Space would corrupt space in their session causing areas of distorted space and changing things that pass through them in similar ways.

May I just say, the fact that you're taking dedication to this is admirable, and you deserve a hug and a highfive.
A hugfive, shall we say.

They go in the same order they're written though the opposites are above and below one another. For example the top line is Bile, Echoes, Chains, Hearth, Dream and Dread.
