Okay, so I think this game may not be viable due to some inherent flaws I've noticed in it.

For one thing, it thus far requires WAY too much activate management, the stats are difficult for people to interpret, and it takes forever to do anything.

I think I'm going to go back to the drawing board and see if I can fix it. If anyone is still interested in continuing let me know, and if anyone is interested in taking up Metagalactic Warfare 2.0, let me know!

Some changes I think I'm going to make, is give each race starting stats, so that no stat will ever fall below zero. I'm also going to make the race creation easier, by allowing free control over where your stats go, which will be more determined by how old your civilization is than it will be by its specific characteristics. Resources will be thrown into a pool, rather than used by Star System, to simplify and expedite the Build Phase.

Something I may also do, is create start units, that you can use as a basis for future creations, so that everyone is kept to the same standard.

I'm also going to burn down the post formatting, and just make rules of where your information needs to go inside of it.

I was happy with the set-up we had going already.
but then again I was the only one making real progress.
if every one else wanted to restart then I won't argue.

I might be jumping the gun, but to me it just looks flawed.

I honestly wouldn't mind restarting or continuing. But I suppose restarting would allow me another remake at what I had begun

Hmm, well it would seem that most people don't care one way or the other on this matter.

I suppose we could just keep doing it this way until I finish with my maintenance, and then we can decide if it's a better way of doing it. Then we can either just, continue using the current thread but with the new system, or start a new one so we don't get caught up in what we've already done.
