Physical appearance: The Mediator has soft, almost feminine facial features.  He wears his hair long, down a bit past his shoulders, and usually tied back.  His eyes are bright and full of youthful energy that makes him seem like a much younger troll.  He almost always has a smile plastered on his face, and even when he doesn't, the beginnings of one can be seen tugging at the corner of his mouth.  His horns are short, and grow towards each other making a /\ shape.  He usually wears the traditional Mediarationator's uniform, consisting of simple, black fitted pants, a shirt emblazoned with his symbol in jade green, and a jade trimmed cape tapers down to a point at the end.  

Personality: Evekos fits neatly into the stereotype of motherly jade-bloods, worrying and fussing over every little detail.  This tendency is what made him such a good Mediarationator, one who oversees various negotiations and business transactions in order to prevent the easily-angered highbloods from getting violent.  His experience in his job has given him an uncanny sense of other's motives and emotions.  Like his descendant, he often stays silent for long times, only speaking at the exact moment that will quell all anger in the room and destroy any chance of hostility.

Strengths: Insight into other's motives, great at reading people, knows exactly what to say to calm others down.
Weaknesses: Believes that he can change the violent ways of the highbloods, tries to see the good in people even if there isn't any.
Fears/Insecurities: That the entire world will descend into war because of this accursed revolution.

History: Highbloods are known for their notorious tempers, which only get worse as you go higher up the spectrum.  Thus, the Mediarationators were created to ensure that negotiations, business transactions, etc. all go smoothly.  The Mediator was one of these.  He watched over the business of so many highbloods, he'd lost count.  When the whole business with the Signless' revolution started, he attended one of the sermons to see what all the fuss was about.  And he didn't agree with any of it.  All this talk of equality and rising up would only lead to angry highbloods, which would of course lead to fighting, which is kind of what Mediarationators are supposed to prevent.  So, he continued his work until a certain famous event.

The execution of the Sufferer stirred up something inside him.  His view on the revolution shifted ever so slightly.  He approached Her Imperious Condescension and mentioned perhaps treating the Signless' surviving followers with some manner of mercy.  Her response was to 1) show absolutely no mercy whatsoever and 2) make Evekos her "personal" Mediarationator.  He quickly figured out that this meant "someone who says what the empress wants to hear, regardless of ethics or morality."  He held this position until his natural death.
