 "Well Ryan, the aim of the game is to get rid of all of their cards.  A challenge is usually made by players calling out the name of the game, and the loser of a challenge has to pick up all the cards in the middle.Normally, a pack of 52 playing cards is used, but the game can accommodate more players by shuffling together multiple packs of cards and often includes the jokers as wild cards.[citation needed] A dealer is chosen and the cards are shuffled and dealt (normally using a Western deal) until all the cards are dealt. The first player is either the first player dealt to or sometimes in variants the first person with a specified card (usually the Ace of Spades). Play proceeds in the order of the deal. The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards.

A turn consists of a player placing a specific number of face-down cards into the middle of the table, from their hand, and making a claim as to what those cards rank are (e.g. "two sevens"). They are permitted to lie about the rank of these cards, and the claim may have to be a lie if the player has no cards of the required ranks. The first play of the game must call aces; subsequent calls must be exactly one rank higher, with kings being followed by aces and continuing again.
Once a player has made a claim, every other player has until the next player places their cards down to call "cheat" (or a similar phrase) if they think the player was lying. If a claim is challenged in this way, the cards played by the challenged player are revealed. If the challenge was correct and the player was lying, the lying player must take the entire stack of cards as a punishment. If the challenger was wrong, however, they must take the stack. Play continues in normal rotation as the next player starts a new pile.The first player to empty their hand (and not lose a challenge on the final play) is the winner. The game may be continued to determine second and subsequent places, and in some versions the game continues until a loser has been established."

You laugh a little and smile. "You honestly did not have to give a big long explanation, Mat." You begin to deal the cards out and after you are finished dealing out the cards you look through the cards you have. "So to get this started whoever has the ace of spades set it in the middle face up."

The group of boys and girls spends more or less an hour playing this game, which Klaus doesn't completely get, he doesn't win any of the rounds/games. Which were three.((used cards for this. Like. Each card was one of the kids and i lifted a random one for each round to decide who wins))
The first round is won by Lynn, the second one, by Ryan amd the third one by Will.

Klaus nods Yeah,it wasnt bad!, heh he says, with a chuckle. Gray seems ti think mat is sad right nkw and comes down of his cushion mountain just to start licking his face, klaus starts laughing when the dog does that, mostly because mat was not expecting it. He puts an arm around will's shoulders because he's laughing quite hard and leans frontwards, so he makes it so he doesn't hit the table, amused.

Klaus claps once and the dog barks, but leaves mat alone and walks next to klaus, who pets him
Sorry man, he just thought you were sad and was trying to cheer ya up, heh he says, hugging his dog now, with one arm because the other is still around will's shoulders.

"guess it wasnt so bad" She shrugged. It occurred to her that it was the first time in a long time that she'd played cards with someone. Back when. . . She doesn't remember, but that doesn't matter. Probably nothing important.

You blush a little when klaus puts his arm around your shoulder but you don't really mind it. "That was really fun." You smile and look around the circle of new friends with klaus' arm still around your shoulder.

"In deed." You agree chuckling slightly at all that\s happening. Though you watch the reactions of your friends like you were to study them, you are easily intrigued by them all honestly. You cocka a brow at Will and give a slight chuckle, you would leave it be, no need to tease and all.

Klaus decides not to release will, not yet, he takes his chance and has a good look at Will's face from here, heh, he doesn't look bad, actually... and he'll pretend he hasn't notices him blushing when he wrapped an arm around his shoulder, is he interested in guys?... Klaus can't be sure, but if he is this could be interesting. Klaus grins widely and releases will now, with a soft chuckle...
Do ya guys wanna play anything else?, i have more table games and stuff, or a different card game, maybe? he asks, resting his arms on the table, and looking around at everybody

She looked to Lynn and smiled giving a small wave to her. "Sounds fun to me.." She shrugged and looked down slightly at the table. What was she even thinking..She pulled her cell out of her looking a little disappointed when there was a lack of texts on the screen.. She really shouldn't have expected there to be any texts, she really was hoping her ex would have come back saying she was sorry about the fight. But that wasn't happening so she needed to stop dwelling on it.

"hey" She spoke in response to Ryan, before looking at the deck of cards. "only card games i know is blackjack but thats pretty basic and probably shitty" She shrugged, glancing at Ryan's phone but not reading the messages. Their privacy and shit, that's their business; and that's cool.

She took a moment to open what was there.. It was nothing important anyways. So she tucked her phone away and looked around the group. She guessed it was cool..making new friends was good expectantly when she felt so alone in a new place. Though she wanted to get her head strait and stop acting so..odd.

She noticed Ryan seemed a little saddened, or something. She didn't really know, since she didn't examine facial expressions apart from people marveling at a statue of Cthulhu or something new about said Horrorterror. It was always kind of funny to see them so impressed, but she herself was impressed too. Cthulhu is awesome, she'd totally give it a fist-bump if it ever visited earth.
