Re: Sburb: Linchpin
@BK Active/passive counter-parts really aren't that canon yet.
The only ones we really know is thief/rogue, prince/bard, and lord/muse
Though I can tell you that the passive of witch is rather sylph, mage, or heir.

Mage sounds like the most likely ones.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
I think the current most popular choice for passive counterpart for the Witch is the Heir.

Isn't that an active class?

Heir is the passive to Witch. Also if you're looking for a human I may be able to help.

If a troll spot is open, I'd like to put Caligu in when he's finally accepted.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
I think Johns whole, Retcon spree, proves it's passivity is non-existant. The again, The Heir of Breath just might be a combo that makes a passive class active.Damnationsedge wrote:Heir is the passive to Witch. Also if you're looking for a human I may be able to help.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
Its always been passive, the idea behind it is that your aspect protects you, thats passive as you aren't commanding it. You get the power to control it later but at first its entirely unintended.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
I would say that a witch increases(or decreases) [aspect] whilst an heir's [aspect] increases(or decreases).
Breath means freedom. John's freedom increases significantly granting "ultimate freedom" which would be teleportation through time and space.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
You guys are disregarding the theory that states all classes are related in real life by some degree. A Bard and Prince are opposites and are representing a Jester in a court entertaining the Royal Family which includes a Price. Heir is therefore the antithesis of he Maid representing the Heir to an estate and his Maids.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
Ok VM, thats not how they work at all. The classes all work on a active and passive version of one role. The Witch and Heir are passive and active of changing their aspect. The Maid is the active creation class and opposite to the passive creation which is Sylph. Where did you get an idea like that?

Okay, I think we're getting a little derailed.
Have we discussed at all the possible relationships between all of our characters? :)

@BK, probably! Although Nox doesn't seem to like drama, so I'm not sure how that would mesh with Oreo's fear and insecurity of everything.
Maybe due to this dislike in character, she tries to chill her out with much feelings jams and shoosh paps?

That's what I was thinking. Someone like Oro needs a calmer mind to chill with

I imagine that trolls likely...
A.) Hate Tyndar for ruining the session.
B.) Pity Tyndar.
C.) Annoyed at Tyndar for saying he'll fix it all the time.
D.) Don't care one way or the other.
Because after all this time he is still beating himself up about it.

Re: Sburb: Linchpin
I feel like Oreo (yes I know its misspelled, but I can't undo it now. It's like, quasi-canon), would probably not care one way or the other for Tyndar, being so fraidy.
Anyway, since we don't have an answer yet on whether or not Fanclasspects are approved, I will say that if Oroelo Yunare is not a Rake of Fear, then she will be instead, a Sylph of Doom.
So far for relationships, we have Oroelo <> Noxxia as cannon, leaving the mousqey girl three open spots. Although I'm not sure if it's actually possible for someone so paranoid to have a black or ashen romance.
Can we just have a roll call or something of all the people that are still in it to win it? Character names, and any other information appreciated :P
