Hearing the voice from the other room, Duke went to greet her. "Oh hey, I was wondering where you were. We're about to make some food if you want to join us."

Noticing the colorful tears, Duke walked closer. "Hey, what's wrong?"

She sighed, seems that Will and Duke were the only ones she could speak to without it being a complete disaster. "It's quadrant troubles. If you don't want to concern yourself with it the that's fine. But Mat and Liam, they both kissed me and... Humans only have one quadrant and I can't have both of them and I like them both and if I choose one the the other will get mad at the other and then they'll start a rivalry and I'd feel really bad." Damn she can talk fast. Though she soon became a sobbing wreck.

A sudden sound comes from a wall in Will's house. Due to how your powers work, you had tried teleporting during Mat's training montage. You ended up in the wrong place by mistake. He must have teleported at the same time as you did. Unfortunately his powers work differently than yours. You had planned to head back to where you had left, er... where she left you, a while ago. You even feel the odd feeling of missing a few hours. God damn paradox space and its crazy shenanigans. You guess you'll just sit here in the wall a while to mope.

"I'm not sure what you mean about quadrants, but if it's something like relationships not all humans have only one. It's kinda complicated to explain, but it's called being polyamorus. Most humans only love one person at a time, but polyamorus people can love multiple people at the same time. It works all sorts of ways too."

Mat wondered what else can he make to seem more badass. He explored his house. He went into his grandpa's workplace room thing. In a drawer he saw his grandpa's rifle. "I guess a part of him is comin along with me"
