Homebound: A Human/Troll Session

In a grim turn of events for Earth, Her Imperial Condescension has set her sights on the planet Earth. Unlike the Machiavellian, intelligent, conniving empress of Alternia, in this alternate universe, she directly caused the extinction of the Trolls. After extinguishing countless civilizations in a search for a suitable world, she has set her sights on Earth. The Condesce intends to take Earth by brute force, and colonize it with a new breed of savage trolls. She came to Earth and promptly massacred the developers of Sburb, preventing the world's destruction and beginning her plans.

In a terrifying show of force, she aligned Jupiter's moons over Earth, causing a devastating gravitational shift and flooding the majority of the planet. When Earth's military responded appropriately, she had her only remaining cohort, Gleefull Organick Mekanick, the Last of the Subjuggulators, create a swarm of automated imperial drones. The remnants of the military surrendered after a sound defeat. The remaining human population lives in small pockets that toil to please the Condesce. Those who resist are in hiding in the tattered, flooded remnants of Earth's civilization.

However, hope remains. A small group of troll youths from the past, with knowledge of their planet's future, have gotten in contact with a token group of children on earth. As the Troll's world falls apart in the past, they start a session with some intrepid surviving humans, in order to thwart the Condesce and create a new universe beyond her wicked reach. However, as the Condesce chases the humans and trolls into their session, they only have one shot; create a new universe, defeat the Condesce, kill her brutal Mekanick, and win the game.

Name: Jomm Bison

Eye/Blood Color: Brown.

Preferred Pronouns: He, Him, His.

Title: Heir of Heart

Strife Specibus: Glovekind; a pair of MMA gloves, which can be upgraded with specialized capabilities, like iron man thrusters or iron ball bearings. At the higher levels of alchemization, they begin to look a bit silly.

Residence: Earth, on a rather large boat above what used to be Texas before the flood.

Guardian: Bido Bison (Father)

Ideal Role in the Session: Jomm's a rather straightforward fellow in his own way. He falls in line with a plan well, and would likely carry out the grunt work of the Session under orders of anyone who has their shit together. When he strikes out on his own, he has a tendency to get sidetracked, but he often ends up doing something unexpectedly useful while "lost."

He's a stellar fighter even when low on his echeladder, boasting enough physical strength to overpower and destroy Imperial Drones. When he reaches his God Tier, he'll become that much more elusive and powerful.

Title: Thief of Rage

Strife Specibus: spearkind - It's rather simple and for the first few alchemization it will get cooler, though later it'll look colorfull, some upgrades leads back to first form.

Residence: A cave, half under water, though her hive is built on the out of water.

Guardian: Octomom

Ideal Role in the Session:
She is the one who most likely joined because she doesn’t want to die, but once in the session, she goes on her own ways.
Before personal quest or God Tier, she will be someone, who hurts everyone, enrage everyone and laugh on it sometimes she helps with it, sometimes it’s for fun. Later she becomes trickier and uses her powers to weaken enemies.
If she convinced to work with a team, she first would be the seemingly unwilling leader, who steps in, because she thinks nobody else is capable enough. If it’s proven otherwise, she’ll accept it, and push the team to victory.

She fights Drones viciously before God Tier, though after it she will rather make others fight them, while she seeks the weak points of the Condesce and the Mekanick.

Title: Mage of Void

Strife Specibus: SwitchBladeKind. Not particularly great in direct combat but the blade is easily concealable, easy to use and allows for quick, critical attacks. Upgrades may vary (Can't think of anything atm)

Residence: Makeshift home on a flooded overpass

Guardian: Cheery mother

Ideal Role in the Session: Independent investigation and research, looking into the secrets and inner workings of the game in order to support the team from the sidelines. His natural distrust will mean we will attempt to keep tabs on his team mates while not revealing much about his own activities. Could potentially lead to being useful in helping the leader formulate strategies by keeping them up to date on player positions and major events in game.

Will attempt to avoid major combat until at a suitable level, if forced to fight he will fight smart. Leading enemies into dead ends or traps while he himself runs away. Will suffer if forced to fight head on.

Name: Troppo "Trop" Fagott

Eye/Blood Color: Blue

Preferred Pronouns: He/Him/His

Title: Bard of Life

Strife Specibus: Lutekind and 2xdrumstickkind. Lutekind works like a blunt weapon and 2xdrumstickkind works like needlekind/wandkind.

Hive: The first floor of his hive is your typical tavern, tables for guests, a stage, a meal block, and load grapes; while his respiteblock takes the entire second floor and is filled with musical instruments and scattered music sheets, his recuperacoon is tossed in a corner alongside his lusus' perch and his husktop is kept within his sylladex to save "music space".

Guardian: A regular-sized nightingale.

Ideal Role in the Session: Well, Trop is the wildcard. And by "wildcard" I mean: he's gonna goof off most of the session and still somehow manage to finish his land's quest, reach the top of his echeladder, go god tier, save everyone from a doomed timeline, and do the hokey pokey. He's that kind of guy.
Also, he's a good listener, so I guess he'll play therapist a lot.

Glad to see there's interest in this! There aren't enough sessions in which humans are usable, in my opinion, so feel free to bust 'em out. BurdenKing, thanks for keeping an eye on things. Lol.

I aim to begin the story sometime this upcoming weekend. Fret not, there will be a decently sized chapter in which the characters aren't yet in the session, and are getting things organized, so if you join late, we can squeeze you in. 

I'm thinking via schenanigans there will be an A.I. character who handles hosting duties and building up the houses, so we don't have to worry about RPing building each-other's houses, unless you so choose, but we'll still be organizing the order of entry. If you have a preference for host or server player, post it up.

I have a question. We don't have neither Space or Time players, so we can have an unwinable session, or a glitch, bug or something giving they duties to other aspects. (If I remember correctly to what the rules say.) So how it'll be?

If someone volunteers in the meantime, then we add them as a last minute player or something. If not, then we just say it's a doomed session or there's a glitch/bug like temporaryAbsent said.

Waiting too long to start a session kinda kills the mood, so it'd be best if we don't stagnate while waiting for someone who may never come.

Fair point, Alice. I'll begin the session starting tomorrow. I'll brainstorm on the possibilities of a Doomed, Glitched, Nulled, or Scratched session in the meantime if no Time player steps forward before the Session begins, but we'll begin tomorrow in the late morning or early afternoon.
