This session will take place when a group of youth from some unknown race stumble upon the game that will change their lives. This game will take them far from their known world, and will rewrite everything they knew or believed to be true with their race and the universe around them.
Players can expect challenging but fair combat, a high level of involvement in how the story progresses, can expect to have plenty of character interactive moments, and hopefully, a high level of enjoyment while also trying out a new method of game play.
Those interested please post so down below, and also feel free to read over the rule book, as it will likely hold information that will be crucial to your experience.

THANK YOU REISS AND MYSTERY PERSON FOR THE GREATLY APPRECIATED HELP. COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU GUYS
- Spoiler:
- Stats
These stats will be used when figuring out what you character can accomplish. For example, someone with
ten strength would have the very limits of strength for their race, and would thus be able to accomplish
feats such a person could.
For a reference, here is a scale to see where each placement can get you.
1-2: Infirm
3-4: Bad
5-6: Average
7-8: Above average
9-10: Good
11-12: Great
13-14: Amazing
15-16: Awesome
17-18: Legendary
19-20: God-like
Pool: 30 extra points
Strength ( A character's physical power, how hard they hit, how much they can hold): 1
Smarts (A character's mental strength, how smart they are, how much they know,): 1
Speed (how fast a character can move, their dexterity, their reflexes): 1
Soul (A character's confidence, their charisma, their emotions): 1
Sense (A character's perception, how good their sights is, their ability to notice things): 1
Stand (A characters ability to take damage, their energy, how long they can keep going): 1
Item rules:
Players will alchemitize two objects together, and they will receive an item that will enhance a specific stat
during a specific action, and will posses one special power.
In the event a alchemitzed object is fused again with something else, it's starting stats will only improve or
lessened and the power will either gain a secondary affect, will change entirely, or the object will obtain a
new power in rare cases.
Enemies will drop grist depending on their strength. Grist is used to make items, and is the only currency in
the game.
Example 1: The Pogo Hammer (26 grist)
Sledge hammer + Pogo slime
Grants a +1 to strength and speed.
Power: Can be charged, by rhythmically hitting it across the ground continuously, to build up damage.
Character is rooted to one spot until the effect is ended, and lasts for a single attack.
Example 2: The Wrinklefucker (165 grist)
Pogo Hammer + Iron
Grants user +3 to strength and +1 to speed
The wrinkle fucker shares the same effect with the Pogo hammer, but also is able to be used as a mean of
reaching high places by aiming a charged attack to the ground.
This item also burns foes.
Powers:
Just explain what you want and i'll work with you on how to make it not OP. Will get one every time they
level (which will occur when informed by the DM)..... That's honestly it XD
Powers are minor aspect powers (as long as they relate your class as well)
- Race creation.:
- Race Name (EG, Humans, Trolls): Mandrake
Average Life span: The Mandrake are a long lived race, and though their time is varied by sub-species, they typically last for 200 years with proper diet and exercise. However, once the females hits 200, instead of dying they lose the ability to move, and begin releasing stored seeds for an additional 200 years.
Genders? (Y/N): YES.
General Appearance: Their skin is almost always tough by adulthood, soft when a child, and transition gradually from a green to a brown usually, though some turn tan, and rarely, some remain green. The females are more treelike, growing up to 7 or even 8 feet as children, where the males cap out around 6 foot.
(This was under debate, so i am marking it)Once they grow to full maturity and begin to sprout all of their leaves the stems coming from their heads may begin to take the appearance of large antler-like structures.
There are many subspecies as a result of their highly mutable DNA, having many races adapted to their respective environments. For example, not all Mandrakes take on a resemblance of the earthly tree, but may take on a form similar to that of Cacti when coming from desert lands, or appearing fungal when coming from the swamp (an alternative to willow kinds). Some of them can even produce such defensive mechanisms as toxic barbs or deadly false fruit.
Common Personality: They have a tendency to pretend to be fancy and wise. Their entire culture is a rather peaceful one, seeking more often than not emotional or mental completion. It is what drives their constant cycle of romance, divided between the world of material, the world of thought, and the world of heart. They still however experience war from time to time despite being rare, and whenever a "war" begins it usually involves not much more than four dozen individuals. The actually fighting however is either honorary contests of superiority, or behind the scenes of that "conflict" assassins "take out" a target. For Mandrakes, murder is a difficult concept to understand, because for one thing it happens so rarely, and the other thing is that it is usually quite difficult to kill another individual. Due to their insensitivity towards murder, fire has actually been labeled as a weapon of mass destruction. Normally neutralizing a target is poisoning them into a coma that may take weeks to actually take effect due to their peculiar plant-like physiology. Due to this history violent Mandrakes do exist, though normally sparingly.
Relationships (how they are handled (Optional)): There are three forms of romance for the species. Aplove, Belove, and Galove. All of which are filial. Aplove is the artistic pool based only on physical desire and beauty. Belove is the philosophical pool based on the minds and ideas, skills and thoughts of your lover. Galove is the tranquil pool, based on emotion and needs. They are a stabilizing force.
Aplove is less important than Belove.
Belove is less important than Galove.
Galove is less important than Aplove.
Their symbols are rock (A marriage set in stone), paper (A marriage written in flesh), and scissors (a marriage bound by blades).
Any of the three can be based on hate, love, or pity, and one person can fulfil all three pools for one person, known as a trifecta, or Ocean.
Marriages set in stone (Aplove) are the simplest to understand, as it is merely a bonding of appearances or mutual artsmanship, so when two Mandrakes find each other to be equal in artistic beauty they find a large stone, scribe their names to it, and stick it into the ground where the agreement is made; where they promise to meet for as long as they can stand one another. This is most common among artisans.
Marriages written in flesh (Belove) is another rather simple concept to understand. Two Mandrakes that find each other to be of complementary intelligence on an appreciative level shall make it known by carving each others names into each others flesh. Since these wounds will heal, the Mandrakes married this way will meet each other in the future to carve their marriage into each others flesh once again for as long as they can stand one another. This is most common among scholars.
Marriages bond by blades (Galove) can be a little more difficult to pin down. Because it is an emotional concept of completion, it is up to interpretation for either Mandrake what is expected out of the arrangement. Most common however, since such emotional completion may not always be permanent, the bonding ritual is (unlike the other rituals of romance) rather temporary. They cross blades in a specific location (usually their first meeting place, or just a place of mutual significance), and when finished sheath the blades into the earth. This is most common among guardsmen.
Guardians: Usually a person (or creature?) who cares for the mother tree and the eldest youth of the mother tree.
Racial powers:
Players get one free power, approved by the DM, at the start that can't be related to their mytholgical role. This starting power has more leeway then powers gained later on.
This power can cover a skill, a special mutation or ability, or anything else that can be approved.
Other: Mandarakes naming system follows as thus. a five letter name that is plant themed for the first name, then an anagram of that same name for their last name.
Feel free to talk to each other and me about race ideas, and if you can convince me to allow a second race, good for you
When you feel you're ready, send me your sheet and I'll go over it with you. When it's finished, I'll post it in the roster.

- Character Sheet:
Zaezil, Heir of Rage
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Handle: tidalScribbler
Prospit or Derse?: Prospit
Physical description: Because of his shoreline breed Zaezil has more in common with terrestrial anemone than trees or plants and thus has a collection of large and hanging tendrils that obscure half of his face like heavy dreadlocks. These tendrils can cause a slight stinging sensation from their tips and have a mild biolumenecent glow. His 'hair' is a bright electric blue and his body a deeper iris colour. Zaezil wears a grey shirt with a sprig of kelp emblem on its surface along with a long parka to help hold off the storms that sometimes run across the coast and give him somewhere to retreat into when he feels nervous. Zaezil never wears shoes if he can avoid it use to feeling wet sand and stone under his feet and capable of gripping onto a surface securely with them to prevent being dislodged. His skin is considerably more rubbery than most Mandrake breeds because of his native subspecies, they are also one of the more carnivorous breeds feeding almost entirely on fish birds and crustaceans.
Personality: Zaezil has always been anxious and afraid of a lot of life and especially of consequence. As such Zaezil has done his best to live quietly and not get involved in important events as well as trying to avoid confrontation. Zaezil has become very aware of his surroundings to keep him from being caught off guard and adding any further anxiety to his life. Despite this nervousness he has a natural rebelliousness against figures of authority and while he'll rarely challenge them outright he will work to undermine them. Because of his anxiety and frequent panic attacks when things become overwhelming Zaezil has developed a defensive secondary personality somewhere in his subconscious.
Zaezil's mental defence is a fearsome force, only made worse because the Mandrakes mental abilities seem to increase in direct proportion to the sudden plummet in sane behaviour. Not many have seen this side of him since Zaezil obviously doesn't like to become so strained that this defence is uncovered and isn't aware of it himself just blacking out for the duration. This defensive personality is dangerously unhinged and maniacally insightful capable of massacring without remorse or even care for those Zaezil considers close.
Stats:
Strength: 5
Smarts: 6
Speed: 7
Soul: 2
Sense: 11
Stand: 5
Powers:
-Telekinesis. Zaezil can lift and throw objects with the raw power of his mind, this ability develops more the harder he can focus (Sense) and the more attention he can divert the more and heavier objects he can lift at once.
Sixth sense: Has the uncanny ability to sometimes sense something about to happen before it happens (GM discretion)
Items:
Bolaskind, a useful throwing weapon perfect for catching sea birds and tripping up threats.
Fetch Modus: Pong. A game of pong to retrieve items, more complex items play at a faster speed. Beating the automated opponent releases the item safely while losing launches it at dangerous speeds often destroying it on impact. With his awareness and telekinesis Zaezil can focus on a few games at once.
-
Likes: Writing, comfort, quiet, gaming, surfing.
Dislikes: Strangers, stress, dry conditions, large crowds.
History: Zaezil was raised along the shoreline of one of the worlds large oceans, one of the most unpopulated parts of the world. Zaezil and others of his kind tend to live in their own individual tidepools leaving very little room for interaction creating an insular nature, but Zaezil became reclusive beyond the norm. As much as he enjoyed pleasant company it doesn't take long before he needs to be on his own again making talking over computer a perfect way for him to enjoy himself. Zaezil was always imaginative and for a time it didn't seem like he had anything to do with it until he began taking up writing. At first it didn't look like he was very good but he developed over time and sank a lot of his attention into it meaning even less time to socialise off the computer. At the age of ten Zaezil had one of his first major freakouts when a sea storm managed to uproot him and washed him a few miles inland from his pool and forced him to walk back through unfamiliar territory. Eventually the lack of familiarity or anything that gave him a feeling of security made him pass out from anxiety. When he woke up he was back in his home and after glancing outside he noticed a huge groove cut into the earth leading away where his mental powers had dragged him back upon a large rock. After that first outburst Zaezil's telekinetic powers became more prominent and easier for him to access in his day to day life but he never managed to do something quite so destructive, not that he really tried. With his psychic powers Zaezil became a little more outspoken but it came in small breaks, one of the big things he began to challenge was the ocean, swimming deeper and even taking up surfing. The ocean's fearsome storms became a symbol of oppression to him and he began to rebel against them in one of the few confrontational moves he ever made.

IRIET TEIRI, WITCH OF MIND
Age: 13
Gender: Firl (Female)

Prospit or Derse?: Prospit
Physical description:- Picture:
Personality:
Iriet is a positive, cheerful firl with a very hyper personality. She looks and acts very supportive of her friends, sometimes very suspiciously so. Her attitude sometimes seems overly forced, and it hides an underlying dominant personality with worrying tendencies. She also is very vocal about her interests.
Her typing quirk is a ~~{@ or a -'u'- at the end of every sentence. When manifesting her darker side, she ~{WRITES LIKE THIS}~

Iriet may use her TRANCERKIND, laced with hallucinogenic spores from her own body in order to issue an order to another creature. At her current state, she may only command others to do a task they would usually perform. When she activates this power, there's a pinkish glow around herself and her pocket watch, and the victim ends up feeling helplessly interested into looking at it swing in a pendulum motion.
Lesser Geas: When attempting to command a creature, you may increase smarts by +2 for that attempt alone. Can only be used 3 times before being useless till next level.
Items:
Trancerkind: Iriet's strife specibus. A pocket watch weapon. Really hurts at full swing.
Captchalogue
Fetch Modus: Clockqueuestack
This modus makes it so Iriet's items are stored in a CLOCKQUEUESTACK, which is composed of 12 queuestack, and depending on the hour, Iriet can only access the queuestack tied to the time slot in which the item was stored. Therefore, something stored at midnight can only be accessed at midnight or high noon. She can also only access items from the top or bottom of the queuestack.
History: Iriet was raised in the underground like many other Fungus Mandrakes. She has spent most of her years in isolation, being only with her guardian for a long time before she could find others of her kind. The time alone had made her develop the habit of keeping notes or talking to herself, sometimes through sock puppets or by playing other personas in the mirror. But once she met other mandrakes she became excited with their presence and rather quickly worn off the initial awkwardness of never having met one of her kind before.
But even then, when in society, she wanted to know more of her own world, not only out of a sense of adventure, but also because if she had her world suddenly expand before her eyes as she met new people, she didn't want this to be the last she'd get of that feeling.
And so, she found the other mandrakes of the surface, which she found rather alien, considering how they didn't glow and had roots or needles. Still, if cowboy knights didn't back out of a fight with demon banditos, she wasn't going to shy away from knowing more of the surface world.
But eventually her wanderlust worn off and Iriet felt fulfilled, and sort of missed her home. Because home was, in many ways, more predictable and safe, and not everything she had come across in this world was as fun or interesting as she thought. Besides, she always had pesterchum to keep in touch with friends. And eventually, some other adventure would come along...

-Swagilicious Reflexous: Can spend speed to increase sense, or sense to increase speed at will. A maximum of 3 points can be spent in either case, these points being taken from the stat not being buffed.
Items:
Strife specibus: Deck kind - any kind of deck of cards
Fetch modus: RNG modus- Generates a number between 1 and 9 and gives 3 attempts to guess the number after failing
3 times it locks the user out of a random amount of time (chosen by DM)
Likes: Playing card games, Using the computer and Tokusatsu
Dislikes: People who Dislike things without real reasons.
History: "An average boy living an average life." Is how Pando would describe his life, and it's largely accurate. Never fighting monsters, never survivng the cruel sandy wastes, never doing anything but living comfortably and safely. This has been his life, and it has become the source of his anxiety and fears. The banal life he leads makes him fear that the future hold snothing for him, and that no one will remember his name when he leaves this world. Basically childhood midlife crisis.
- Sylph of Void=DuelingThoughts:
- Character Sheet:
Kakti Kitak,Sylph of Void
Age: 13
Gender: Firl (Female)
Prospit or Derse?: Prospit
Physical description: Kakti is a hardy Mandrake whole hails from the water sparse deserts of the east, and comes from an old ancestry of her mutated people. Her appearance is unmistakable. Standing almost 7 feet tall, the prickly princess is the porcupine of plants. She is rather slim for a female, but do not let that deceive you; she is a tank of firl. Her complexion is the natural green pigment of those of her ilk, but it is a darker hue so as to blend in with the night.- Reference Picture:
Personality: Kakti is a rather reserved individual, preferring to go things alone than going with others... even if she does care for them there is little she can conceivably do. She is the opposite of a healer, she poisons people and causes them pain, even when she doesn't want to. It is merely in her nature to be isolationist, her people needed to cut off their sentiments with each other, lest they die due to the desert dangers and cause everyone to mourn instead of survive. But for her, there had always been a longing for a more complete companionship, a symptom common among the youth of the desert. You could even say, she has a void within her needing someone to fill it.
As such, she has turned to reverence (violence), and has become a member of the Guild of Abyss. They are a religious group dedicated to the worship of the Absence; a catchall term for the lack of light/food, lack of water, or really any other kind of lack. They are also Assassins that use the cover of night to infiltrate the defenses of their targets, and poison them. The violence isn't what she takes from the Guild however, even so far as saying she hates the violence, but she still maintained her membership merely due to the reverence of absence. She wanted to fill her void by understanding it in religious context. As a true believer she makes an effort to offer everyone of a way to heal the Absence that pervades their lives.
Despite her comparably violent history, Kakti is very kind and quiet, offering little conversation. She gets very upset however if someone attempts to touch her. She desperately wants to avoid hurting people, but has a tendency to do so anyway.
Stats:
Strength: 1+3=4
Smarts: 1+3=4
Speed: 1+3=4
Soul: 1+2=3
Sense: 1+9=10
Stand: 1+10=11
Powers:
Toxic Barb Mutation - Kakti is riddled with barbs all over her body that possess poison that increases in potency and affect the bigger the barb is she is using. The poison she produces is lethal to nearly all types of life, but the time of effect varies greatly. For Mandrakes for instance, due to their plant-like physiology, it may take weeks for one poisoned by Kakti for them to reach a mortal state. For most fast moving animals however, the poison is strong enough to paralyze or kill small beasts near instantly. Affects Standing and strength
-Guardian: Can move up to 5 points from sense to stand when attempting to take the damage of an attack for an ally.
Items:
shivKind Strife specibus - Pretty simple, it allows her to stab people in strife. However, she keeps this secret and will often enter strifes with nothing but her barbs to attack with. It should be noted that it is technically a *psndshivKind, as it is laced with a higher concentration of her poison that is sure to cause painful nerve signals to intermittently flair for long periods of time, as well as minor paralysis in the area of contact.
Likes: The idea of comradery, helping, writing diaries, writing poems, observing people, faith, reading, stories
Dislikes: Violence, being too close to people, blatantly hostile irreverence, bad literature of any kind
History:
Kakti fell from the sky to the desert, as all Paradox Clones do. When her seed had landed upon the surface and buried itself beneath the burning sand for the cool of the underground, Kakti's life was destined for a hard struggle for survival. As with all Mandrakes, when she was sufficiently rooted into the ground and peeked out of the sand she began to exude an alluring scent for an animal that shares a symbiotic relationship with the Mandrakes. It came to her and brought food for her to use for growing, and in return the creature felt happier due to her Sapling Scent, that upon meeting the creature she decided it would be her Guardian. Thus she ceased the production of her scent, and then created a scent based off of her Guardian to call it back whenever it left her alone. The bond between the grew until such a time that she was able to leave her roots behind, and walk for the first time.
Sand beneath new feet, under a barren night fill with all the objects of the sky that she was so accustomed too. She had never seen another Mandrake since her conception, a commonality she shared with her fellow Desert People, who were spread all through the desert when seeded. It was done this way rather than the Mandrake norm of releasing seeds close to the mother tree due to the need for enough water for each sapling. If all of them were near the mother, they would all die of thirst with all the competition to soak up the sparse water table moisture of the desert. So even despite her meteor origins, her appearance to the Shchoack Tribe was not irregular, and was celebrated as her Walking Day. Her Guardian had lead her here, having had connections to the people here.
The nomadic tribe took her into their customs, which celebrate only her emergence from seedhood, and all else was as harsh as the environment around her. She was content with the harshness of the world early on, having little capacity to understand why the world was so harsh... or better yet, having the capacity to understand that there were parts of the world that was not so harsh. To her, it was merely reality. But as she grew older, got taller, filled into her barbed skin, she realized that things could be different. She discovered pesterchum, and was able to observe a community of closeness... that simply did not happen in the desert tribe.
Every night when she woke up, she woke up in utter silence. No one talked. They merely stirred from their sleeping pose and went to work; hunting, gathering, teaching, building, planning, ordering... but never really talking, smiling, or playing. Online no one hunted. Online no one gathered. Online no one taught, built, planned, or ordered. It was unnatural... but it was alluring. She longed to talk. She longed to smile. She longed to play. She didn't understand it, and upon consulting her elders she was told to see the Guild of Abyss. They saw emptiness in her, and emptiness was dangerous to desert folk. Lacking in a desert when you are fully supplied could turn to greed, which would tear apart society.
She was not greedy though, merely frivolous, and what the guild intended to fill her emptiness with was foul and rotten to her. It was the wrong content to her void, but still she and the Guild persisted in this abuseful relationship. She followed reverently the assassin orders when they were required, and she attended the lectures. Apparently, emptiness was common for those among the desert who sought for more than what they were given. The guild sought to direct their negative behavior into something useful, which unfortunately for Kakti was translated as violence.
Despite this dark turn in her life, she took it upon herself to find people to converse with online. She did not consider them friends, but liked the idea of having them. It was nice to her, to have someone other than a guardian look over you as much as you looked over them. She is a romantic, and thirsted for the connection of people, but feared their closeness just the same. Her fear persists, but as the boundary of friends is within sight, a game is proposed. It will be the first and last game she ever plays.

She does not see the problem in it and believes that she is the most perfect Mandrake alive (aside from her smell that is), although she won’t admit that she does. Re: Super Tabletop Homestuck game !
This is also a post
Here are some ideas me Chao had on the subject:
An extremely dimorphic race
or possibly Sentient Mules that shepherd their pet-like-parents
Highly mutable race (i.e. Unstable DNA + Favored Powers)
Magically/psionically inept
Favored powers differ between dimorphic genders
Goblin theme?
Ork theme?
Other mythological beast theme?
Animal theme? (Turtle, goat, bees, etc.)
We should definately come up with a theme for our race first

I like all these ideas you got going on. I think you can take the mutation advantage multiple times, which could do well with what you're going for.
Also, since I kinda wanna be nice, you race starts with one unspent point, so have fun with that. I you have any ideas for new stuff that isn't in the book, feel free to talk to me about it.

I would just like to be a player, and make no contribution to it at all besides saying it's not badass enough and trying to remedy the fuck out of it with a motherfucking suggestion.
Are there any skill/ability trees we may allocate this badass point into?

Re: Super Tabletop Homestuck game !
Here is a killer idea I got last night. I've lost my steam on its progress since, but rather than perpetually keep this tab open I'm just going to post what I have so far for an idea!
Enjoy :3
Enjoy :3
- Elfin:
Race Name (EG, Humans, Trolls): Elfin
Average Life span: 500-1500 human years
Genders? (Y/N): Yes; Extreme Dimorphism
General Appearance: The Elfin people are a blue blooded arrogant race, most evident in their proud avian appearance. They are tall and regal, with blue-grey skin, and prominent hollow bones that jut out at a sharp angles. They contain what remains of a vestigial beak that gives their face its hardened features. Their chin especially cuts downward with the hard keratin that once formed a beak, but now merely frames a toothless mouth. They have two tongues that are exceptionally rough and are meant to grind up food in place of teeth. Their necks are long and pronounced, allowing them to turn their heads at odd angles or extreme extensions.
Their eyes are large and very adept, and match the colors of their feathers, which adorn certain segments of the body merely to look fancy and serve almost no more purpose than their vestigial beak. They have wings but they serve no purpose of flight, they do however, help to streamline and hasten their running abilities. This often then gives them the appearance that they have no arms, which is actually true. However their wings have deviated so far from their original purpose a keratin coat has encased the front of the limbs, and provided them with singular talons in the middle of their wing joints. As to be expected from an Avian species, the Eflin have reverse facing knee joints and contain sharp talons on their feet, which are often used as hands when a single talon will not suit the situation. The few places that tufts of feathers can be found, are directly on top of the head, non-keratin encased sections of their wings, and across their chest and hindquarters. Colors ranging between all the colors inclusive of white and black, with the possibility of multi tones and patterns.
Due to their weak bones and low body mass, radiation has a heavier effect on them than most species, resulting in a variety of mutations. It is believed that mutations have been so heavily ingrained in their bodies that it is the root cause of why they have so many vestigial avian leftovers as they transition from bird to something else entirely. The effects of these mutations vary when it comes to physical appearance, but ordinarily it has to do with size, or loads of extra keratin armoring, and also an increase in hyper awareness of one's sense. Mutations may also possibly regress their DNA to the point of allowing an Elfin to fly like their ancestors, or perhaps advance it into granting more wing talons giving room for a highly dexterous individual for the creation of machines and other such activities. Maybe extra talons also means it could become an excellent digger... Essentially, mutations can affect any of their biological aspects, so long as they remain distinctively avian.
There is only one last aspect of their biologic appearance that needs to be addressed: sexual dimorphism. As an avian species it is not unheard of to see a creature like this to have a such a developed physical difference between the male and female genders.
Common Personality: (WIP)
Relationships (how they are handled (Optional)): (WIP)
Racial Strengths:
(+) = Unstable DNA: Yeah mutations! (mutations 1 point cheaper)
(+) = Favored Powers: Imma git Supah sped, n fle 2. (4 points available for mutations)
(+) = Naturally Talented: Much know, such skill, wow. (2 extra character points)
Racial Handicaps:
(-) = Magically Inept: -1 point penalty for Majyyks
(-) = Psionically Inept: -1 point penalty for Solluxes
(-) = Racially Inept: Sucks at a skill in particular (WIP)
Other: Any other information you can think of.

This looks like an interesting race. Gonna have to go over with everyone else though, as Chao, V.M.P. and some others are liking the idea of a plant based race with similar advantages in mutation.

Well it'd be ones approved by the site and then down to Burdens personal feelings on them. Best to work these things on a case by case basis rather than personal grudges against the concept. I agree there are some terrible ones out there but some work out well.

Re: Super Tabletop Homestuck game !
Here's the thing. If I were to bring in fan classes and aspects, that would require me to homebrew an entire class to make sure it works with the system, while also making sure it's balanced. I don't have the experience for that.
So, I'm sorry to say, but no fan classes or aspects. Maybe in later games if they occur.

Suggestions in purple
Race Name (EG, Humans, Trolls):Groot Mandrakes
Average Life span: The groot are a long lived race, and though their time is varied by sub-species, they typically last for 200 years with proper diet and exercise. Once the females hit 200 instead of dying, they lose the ability to move, and begin generating seeds.
Genders? (Y/N): YES.
General Appearance: their skin is almost always tough by adulthood, soft when a child, and transition gradually from a green to a brown usually, though some turn tan, and rarely, some remain green. The females are more treelike, growing even to 7 or even 8 feet as children, where the males cap out around 6 foot.
Common Personality: They have a tendency to pretend to be fancy and wise.
Their symbols are rock, paper, and scissors.
Any of the three can be based on hate, love, or pity, and one person can fulfil all three pools for one person, known as a trifecta, or Ocean.

Hmmmm, a buncha amazons huh and speedy quick dudes.
Really, chao, would you prefer them all to be based on one type of tree/plant or can we get some... variety? Maybe different caste depending on what kind of plant you're based on.
I like the romance thing, BUT WE MUST INCLUDED POLLINATION TO THE SMOOTH SOUNDS OF R&B, MUSIC OPEN UP THEY REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS.
