i have wanted to do this for a while now but after some time i have decided to share my idea with all of you

there is this page called http://mspfanventures.com/

i dont know if you know it, but is a page full of homestuck like comics made by fans, and some of them are pretty good, and for some time i have wanted to make my own.

we made a great story alreday in the sesions im already playing, but i dont know if i should ilustrate that story or make a new one.

and i wanted to know, if someone would like to make a comic in this page with me, it would be our own little experiment.

I would like to take part in this but my skills in Microsoft paint are shotty as Fu**.
I can how ever give some neat concept designs if you wan't?
things like weapons landscapes and creatures

First of all, sorry I'm not really helping your decision.

I simply adore the idea and am looking forward to helping in just about any way except for art.

I feel that we have had good adventures already, but there is merit in doing a new one, which I would like to help with as well.

Heh. I was the one who made a guide tutorial for them if you go onto edit adventures. (On the mspa forums, people call me dotu.) and that husk comet website. But anyways, I would love to help. But things like this makes me believe that people rely on me too much. Which then I feel like I'm being leeched off. Other words I wish I could help, but I'm already working on 5 Fan Adventures both on MSPFA and MSPA forums. His Emblem Days, The Signicture, Frost Bite, Demi Prime: The Revengance and another thats being worked on.

I'm pretty talented at concepts and I've built up some reasonably decent trolls and the like in paint. Since I'm gunning to become a published author then a little practice is always useful and I can take the time to work on it. If you need any examples take a peek at my own trolls reference sheet.

Its not that hard. I can put together some decent trolls in a under an hour.

I believe Red may able to create the plotline, or the speech parts (parts that need writing). Damnationsedge would definitely be able to do the drawings 'cause man, those drawings are great!

As for me, I guess I won't mind helping out here and there since my skills on paint do...need some work. Either ways, this seems like a *great* idea. ^u^

i know the "paint skill" are a hard thing to achieve, but if we want, we could make our normals RP's in Great stories people can enjoy

Well, I can write too. Not to overreach myself but I can work on both. I'm also pretty versed in a few useful topics like mythology (for things like denizens and lore) vocabulary (so we get the best words for the job) and general unrestrained imagination. So what would be our base storyline? The concept we're building around?

Also, which one of the RPs are we going to base the fan adventure on?

Just an addition, I'm also pretty good at writing, though if I do help in the writing, it would end up being in British spelling, so if you're okay with that, I won't mind helping in parts of the writing procedures. Though my strong points are mainly in the basic background and planning of the essay writing parts. Also, I'd be able to do a check on grammar mistakes, since...being the grammar nazi I can be, I should be able to do that well.

By the way, to be honest, I don't know if basing it on our RPs would bode well, considering that none of them have finished yet and, I'd like to involve everyone's own characters in the story. Plus, maybe we should give Damnationsedge an idea of how our characters look like? But you're the (automatically and by right) leader of this thing, so in the end, it all is up to you.

well, if we are going to do a new RP we first need to make 3 characters

the protagonist
the antagonist
and the secondary but still important AUSPISTICE to draw a line between the two.

at least in our rp we used that formula, and the story was great.

i dont know if you want to follow that one, or do something else.

and by the way, our characters are easy to spot

Red has his own in as his avatar aswell as me. And you did have that cool artwork that, even if it needed a little more of work into it, was a really good starting concept.

but yea, i only though about doing our rp, because, even if it is not finished. We already made a great starting story, so we could do a fantastic Act 1, and maybe half of an act two with the things we have

but you are also right that our story may not be the best option. The thing is, if we are going to ilustrate a story, we need that story to be complete, or at least, know what we are doing.

so we have two options here. Do a new one from scratch as quickly as posible, or take one of the stories we already made (from any RP really) and try to modify it to be part of a comic

I guess option two is definitely the easier choice. So, which RP are you going to choose.

Well, it may be better to make characters specially for this so we can get good original mixes. Also is it just me or does three characters seem pretty sparse?

I'd like to be polite about it but she kinda looks like she's on a tv with bad static.

Anyway on another subject its best to have a story already made up, that way we can reference things that haven't happened yet and have things lead together like the real comic. Past Rp's are bad at this since its multiple people working on their own story within a larger one, not terrible but also lacking the kind of unification it'd need.

Ugh, thanks for the honesty I guess. But honestly, it was pretty hard trying to do this without a tablet. Also, my Paint skills as afore mentioned do need some work. That was pretty much the best I could do at the moment. >:/

hey, you made the effort to do it so i count that as amazing. most people just do a squiggle and call it the monalisa. anyways here is some of my previous pieces of work.

We can always do the old session as our next one once that's finished. Let's do a new one.

Also, I had an idea. We can spoiler every action and unless labeled to be read by a certain person or people, we don't read them. This way we aren't biased by information we shouldn't know and so the story is new even to us. If the person is the server player, I guess you can read them while they are in their house/hive and you are hosting them. At the end of the act or something we then put everything on the site.

Also we could have extra people be narrators or exiles or whatever. They can read actions and guide the story. Probably even the beer of people.

So, how many people do we have? I'm one.

That'd work for an Rp, but we're trying to make a story. I think we should just decide on a basic concept and work up from there.
