Anri had hacked and slashed to the point they could be literally rolling in grists. However, it wasn't long before their stride began to falter at the growing numbers. The Imps had them surrounded, leaving them out-matched and trying to find a gap between the enemies in hopes to get out of the circle.

But the Imps left no opening, and the most Anri could do at the moment was try and stay in the center of the ring. They considered getting the magnum out and shooting their way through, but upon closer inspection, they noticed that the Imps' skin was shiny and metallic, similar to silver. There was no doubt that if they shot one, the bullet could ricochet off of it and hit somewhere else. Someone else.

Should I risk a life, I wonder? they thought. As cruel as it may be, they didn't plan to die so early on in a game. They weren't quite sure if there was a type of life point system, and they would rather someone else be killed to find out if that was a thing.

With a sigh, and a fierce expression, they attacked one of the circling Imps instead, and let out a rattling war-cry.

With skill Thea moved her tornado around, sucking up small enemys one by one before swinging down, causing the tornado to stop and roughly drop them. She smirked sending waves of strong wind gusts at them.

Her eyes flicked up, seeing the Lilly pad for only a moment before a familiar flash and explosions. She could feel the adrenaline! She felt a rough smack on her back, turning to see book top. It flipped open to quickly type, " Wanna Ride?" then slammed shut and fly around her lowering for her to step on.

She stepped on, shaky and off balance as they took off up into the air, she crouched down and grasped the side of the book. This, she could do.. she hoped!!

From her new advantage, she began to take in the area seeing who was in need of help.

Seth, despite being in one of the more dire situations of the batch, seemed  to be very good at fending off the enemies, the fully metal ones being not much trouble for him as he rammed the shield into their heads and dealing a ton more damage than any piercing or stabbing weapon could do. He was also surrounded by grist, the shield doing a side job of bringing it to him when he was against an non-metalic foe. After a while of fighting however and the explosions going on below he was losing balance and was getting rather tired, he started to get a little annoyed. He wanted to do interesting and random things, and while boarding the ship and forcing them back was fun, it wasn't interesting enough.

The shield seemed to fly high above everything surrounded itself in massive blue flames, seeming to grow exponentially in size as it did, a blue bar above it re-appearing and ticking down slowly as it did. After becoming about the width of the battleship, it seemed to barrel downwards towards everyone. Seths eyes widened a bit, but this situation made him think of a move that was, rather unique to say the least.

Seth runs towards the edge of the Dersite Battleship, but as he's about to jump, he captchalogues it, forcing everyone on board to stand, being in mid air, until they begin to fall. "INCOMING FROM ABOVE!!!" Seth yells as the shield comes down hard, smashing into pretty much everything in the way, it crashing down towards the ground to slam them all into a thick, gristy paste. Anri, luckily, was not underneath the impact area, so she would be fine.

Joker was transported again, and as he looked around he saw the queen, at least she had the robe, given Miss Sol's follow up statement. He did, well, feel differently about this though. He knew she was an outright enemy, but killing prisoners is one thing, killing the enemy Queen though? Even his Boss wouldn't do it unless it was necessary. He pointed a gun at her and said very blatantly and quietly. "Scream and you die." After threating the queen, his words cold as steel, he spoke seemingly to Miss Sol. "Shouldn't we just capture her instead of murdering her? It don't make much difference to me, but our Queen probably wouldn't do this, given another choice. He really didn't seem to care, but its not like he wanted to do this. The King though? Hahahaha, let him at that fat tubby dastard.

The metal inks were durable opponents, but were no more skilled in combat then Any of the other imps, they were infact slower. This fact gave Anri the edge she would need, allowing her to combat the Imps and probe for their weak points before chipping away their health until they popped.

And then cam the giant shield that smashed the vast majority of the enemies, a massive wave of grist bulging from underneath the shield and cascading in all direction like a colorful gusher volcano.

Thea had a great seat to watch the colorful display, that is until the troll case out of no where in front of her through a portal "Hey watch out!" he yelled yanking her and booktop through his portal, allowing her to narrowly miss a large boulder that had been thrown by the last Ogre.

Miss Sol flicked over to a desk that had a pillow on it, seeming to examine somehing before tucking it away in her pocket "Do what you wish Mister Joker, I am here to provide assistance, not do your job for you." she said casually, examining her nails briefly as she waited for joker to do the deed, whatever it was.

Thea let out a squeak of surprise, holding tight to the troll, her eyes wide with shock. She hadn't even seen the boulder coming. How did she miss it? She blinked and blushed slightly, book top slipping up and out from under her, flying around them a few times before floating beside them, opening up its screen went black, It was doing something.

" T-Thanks.. Uh, ehem..I didn't, it uhh " she was speechless, she was dumbfounded, her mouth ajar. She felt embarrassment flood her face and her chest was tight, oh this was so dumb!! She realized she was still holding on to him, she quickly let go and jumped back, rubbing the back of her neck.

" S-sorry! Sorry haha.." she couldn't help but mentally scream at herself. 'Calm yourself! My goodness, this is not the time!' She quickly turned away, waving her wand to start up a small tornado.

Anri, although out of breath from fighting the Metal Imps, was quite happy about their victory over the small enemies, but not for long. The shield's attack had shocked them, jarring them awfully, and causing them to recoil and cry out in fear, turning their back to the scene and curling over with their hands over their ears and their head between their legs. They appeared like a small, frightened child.

Their heart was racing, and they were breathing hard, even harder with the position they were in. They didn't even notice that the shield had lifted. Actually, they seemed to be completely ignorant of their surroundings, as if they've simply disconnected.

A pair of jade-colored eyes opened to see a familiar view outside a small window. A sky where no stars twinkled in what appeared to be an endless space. They stared, as if searching, within the vast void. They felt safe. They were safe. Their heart, which earlier felt as though it was going to beat right out of their chest, was now calm.

As Seth watched the explosion from up above, he began to feel like he was missing something, and it wasn't the spears being lobbed at him.. but after a moment of mulling it over he realized. "Wait... oh FUCK!!" Panicking, he looked below, slowly using his position while falling to be next to a cliff-side, ramming the katana into it and forcing his descent to slow down, until he came to a stop.

He looked, very scared, staring at the area several tens of feet above the ground, he wasn't hundreds above the ground any more, but he needed a second to contemplate how badly he could have been hurt had he landed flat on his back and/or face. O-okay.. next time, jumping off the f-floating ship, isn't the best call to make.. After taking a really deep breath he tried to yank out his katana by putting one of his feet on the cliff-side and pulling hard, which made him fall with his back towards the ground, landing a lot harder had he just let go. "Ow!!" he exclaimed, slowly rising back to his feet looking over at the ogre who seemed rather intend on harming Thea.

The shield began to shrink back in size until it was the same size it was before it grew, the blue bar seemed to be about 15% empty from this maneuver, which showed that the shield expelled a pretty decent amount of energy to grow that large. It noticed Anri's odd, look to the eyes, and flew over to where the troll and Thea were, seeming to nudge them towards Anri.

Joker sighed. He would've questioned what Miss Sol did, but he didn't see it. After a moment he pushes the button colored yellow, the light changing to the appropriate color, and shot the White Queen with a silent object cloaked in electricity.. however, rather than her lifeless corpse hitting the ground, a fully paralyzed one did. Joker picked the White Queen up in a respectful manner and looked at Miss Sol. "Alright, we're done here. Lets go."

He couldn't shoot the White Queen to kill her, while it just didn't seem right, she looked so similar to Mo- I mean, the Boss. So much in fact, he was willing to believe that in another world, she might have been his Boss, and that really only furthered him to make this new decision.

The troll raised an eyebrow at Thea's behavior, then shrugged as he readied hsi drill, staring at the ogre "Thinking you can keep that asshole in one place?" he asked, space beginning to crack at the tip of his drill.

The ogre roared, turning their sights to the stationary Anri, then charging forward with excessive abandon.

Pan floated above the pile of grist, looking at the colorful gusher shaped rocks with curiosity, before lying on its back and wriggling in the massive ball pit like collection of resources

"Alive huh? Well, whatever you decide is best I suppose."

Miss soul then shrugged, and Joker found himself once more in the dungeon on Derse, the Prospitian bodies still chained and leaking their life essence all over the ground.

" On it! " She blinked, sweat forming on her forehead. YEAH, she could do this, that happened, it passed.. god why was that so awkward! Why, why now? They could all die but no, the world chose now to peek her interest. stupid, stupid.

She whipped up a tornado sending it towards the ogre, hoping that as it grew ti size towards it she could suck it up, keeping it in one area kinda.. She rubbed her forehead with her free hand, she didn't enjoy it here at all.. Elphie was making knack sounds at the troll, now facing towards him.

Seth, was armed with the katana ready to try and assist, but seeing the growing size of the tornado he chose to play it safe and stay back, especially since a moment to breathe would be good for him. No need to overexert himself more than he already has. Whats going on with Anri? he thought as he looked over at her, wondering why she was so spaced out.
"Welp, if no ones gonna do it, I guess I will!"
The shield took some matters into its own hands.. um.. whatever "hands" would be for a circular object, and started attacking many of the imps above them on the Lilypad platforms, seeming to fend them off rather easily despite them having the number advantage.

Joker quickly tied up the queen by both of her feet, and left her a dress that seemed to have been a gift for someone else for when she wasn't knocked out cold. It had a Dersite paddern to it, but hey it was that or the robe, he didn't personally care but he felt obliged to give her the choice. She could throw in on over her head if she was cold or whatever. After doing this and closing the cell door (he would lock it, but he lacked the key) he looked over to Miss Sol, and asked "So, what's next, the Glutton they call a King?"

Anri went away from the window, and went to a vanity that looked so similar to their own back on regular earth. They noticed their hair looked ruffled, as though they had just hopped right out of bed. They used their fingers to brush their hair into place, and while it wasn't the best styling option, it was simple and easier to do. After they fixed up their appearance, they went back towards the window, and looked down at the world below. Everything seemed so quiet, and while they liked it, they wanted some noise. A little chatter.

Without a second thought, the vaulted out the window, free-falling for a brief moment before letting whatever power they had to stop them in mid air. They then went forward, flying through the air with a big grin on their face.

...

Anri's body on the battleground was moving to stand, and started to walk, but not towards the offending Ogre. Instead, they were walking away from the battle, it seems, walking in a leisurely stride as though blatantly unaware of their surroundings.

It appears they left behind their prized weapons.

The tornado soon engulfed the Ogre, the creature roaring in defiance as it began to be lifted up. Howeber, it smashed its hands together, causing an explosion of that tore the tornado in half and killed it. Landing on the ground, it began to charge forward, lifting up a fist ready to smash it into Thea.

Three Imps charged towards Anri, mostly doing it because she was an enemy, not knowing she was currently not all there.

Miss Sol shook her head "The King must die by the Dersian King's hands. Else it'll look like the royal family is weak and can't rule without Master E. No, I believe that for now, I've accomplished what I needed to do." Miss Sol said, gently patting Joker's head "What do you think needs to be done ?"

He saw the Ogre change targets and he used this opportunity to test an idea he had. He looked through the settings in his controller device and tried to combine something for himself. After messing with the setting for a moment he finds a Force Craft Option which allows him to replicate very few and specific items suck as Cards, and Sburb Devices. Not much else however.

Seth made himself a pair of handy throwing darts, they seemed to be an odd Green color, but that aside he uses them, and his new self-made Strife Card which costed a ton of Facade Grist, and equips them using DartKind, throwing a few at the imps, which didn't seem to deplete the number he could use at a time meaning he could theoretically use them until his arms grew tired. Each imp hit displayed a symbol above their head showing that they were weakened, or in another way of saying, Drunk. After mostly immobilizing the enemies around Anri he ran in and grabbed the items she dropped on the ground, Captchaloguing them so he can return them later. He ran at the imps attacking them with his Katana until they burst into more glorious grist, leaving Anri's rear open to attack without realizing.
"Not so fast!!"
The Shield after doing its shenanigans in the air above came back down and rammed into the Ogre fist for the second time, blocking most the attack but being hit into Thea and the Troll rather lightly. The Shield flickered Red twice and flew right at the Ogre, bashing into its head over and over, dodging and weaving its flails and overall being really fucking annoying. This was the perfect time for Thea and the Troll to combo attack the Ogre and finish him off.
"A little help guys??"

Joker was a bit off put by the pat, since it's not every day someone has the audacity to do that, and it wasn't really something he liked. Making little indication of his feeling on the matter he shrugs. "Honestly? I was planning to do work as usual until my email wanted to lock me out for whatever reason. You know, assassination as usual. I don't really have much of a Plan B since its all I do really, do you have any suggestions?" He asked Miss Sol, hoping that what she thought up would be something interesting/productive. Joker had an idea for something, but it's a thing he could ask her any time he wanted to honestly.

" W-wow" Thea Whispered out as the shield jumped to action, she then got busy whipping up a few more tornados to take out other small groups of imps.

Miss sol tapped her chin thoughtfully, then nodded as the lines around her eyes seemed to shif tlike one would with a smile "Are you aware of the chosen children? Those destined to destroy derse?" She asked, twirling her parasol behind her.

The ogre, now swarmed by tornadoes and the shield, left himself wide open. Drilling into the ground, the troll disappeared into a portal. He was gone for a little while, it at first seeming like he abandoned the fight, until he came roaring from the sky and impaling the Ogre's skull with his drill. The ogre let out a surprised war, then scream for just a moment before bursting into grist, the troll landing on his face with a 'thump'

After a second, he pushed himself up, laughing a bit "Hahahaha, that was fucking awesome!" He said, giving Seth and Thea a thumbs up.

The lilipads landed, and the full remaining force began to surge towards the group.

Anri's body began to glitch, and be replaced by a new form.

SHWN saw the land shift around her, one second being on her home planet, the next being in a land of steam and mountains. The roar of imps could be heard behind them, and battle called.

A flash of a blackish-green signified more meddling from the E character, eliciting a snarl from Sherwyn. Instead of in his presence, though, she was simply somewhere else; No longer were there victorian-era houses and streaks of white angels in the sky, but a landscape of obscured vision and rocky outcroppings. Oh, yeah, there were also an absurd amount of imps. She muttered darkly to herself, walking to the crowd slowly and unsheathing her Gaia’s Edge from her Sword+Shieldkind specibus. She gripped the shield in her left hand, maintaining a purposeful pace.

A minute later she was diving into the midst of the crowd with her shield at the ready, her vast experience with destroying imps being put to the test. White light shone off her armaments, and her Dress of Celestial Body fluttered with her motions.

Seth laughed a little with the troll and smiled back, he was glad this new guy was opening up to them. After this exchange he heard all the noises and the glitchy sounds and looked around, he saw that the lilypads decided to land and that apparently another new person appeared. A huge worry welled up in his gut, wondering where Anri went, but he had to help fight the last of the enemies before he could let his worry overwhelm him.

He throws darts at tons of the imps, but attacks a select batch of 6 of them, hacking and slashing away at them with his Katana.

The shield goes on its own accord and rams into and crushes multiple imps on the other side of things, attacking about 7 of them on its own.

With the two of their attacks combined, about 17/30 imps would be left remaining.

Joker raised an eyebrow, was this something the queen never told him about? "No, but they sound like something I should know about. Who are they?" he said, wondering what kind of kids could actually have the power to destroy derse. The thought did not sit well with him.

Thea tripped up watching their team mate vanish to be replaced, she sent small tornados around the area with out thought, she was trying to comprehend how that happened? Right in front of them?! Well, they were a real bad ass so it was not that bad!!

She could hear the panicked chatters of Elphie on her back, her book top floating around the area watching.

The imps began to surge towards sherwyn, seeing the player for the threat they were. They charged, but were then hit hard by the power of Seth's attacks. Their forces split, trying to surround both fighters and overwhelm them with numbers. Full metal Imps charged at Sherwyn, banking on their defensive flesh to see them through the assault. Long bodies ferret Imps charged and circled Seth Trying to out maneuver the boy.

The troll rose up and looked at Thea "Don't worry about Anri now. Master E doesn't kill players, she'll be fine." He said, before charging to side the new arrival player.

An Imp charged at Theas back, intending to cut through Elphie while the girl seemed distracted.

Miss Sol nodded her head "Oh yes, it's a terrible thing. Gods in the form of children shall arrive, and seek to slaughter the black royalty. Without their leader, legend states the Prospitians will have no problem slaughtering those who remain. she twirling her parasol and then swinging it down and having it close, the point stabbing into the ground and she using it like a cane "They've already begun to grow in power, according to the military reports...."

Thea turned quick at the sound of rushing foot steps and Elphie's, swinging her wand up, sending a gush of air out the imps, at the same time she stumbled back slightly in surprise. Elphie didn't calm, she knocked away with fear. "C-cut it out Elphie! Ur going to get me hurt.." she complained sending a few more guests a the imps, slamming them down against the ground.

The shield and Seth got surrounded while in the midst of combat, and while the shield struggled slightly to keep the imps at bay due to their numbers Seth, as they tried to attack him, did a spin attack similar to something straight out of the Zelda franchise, hitting many if not all of them with his Katana with enough force to possibly finish some of them off. "Stay back!" he said with a yell and he forced the surrounding imps backwards, his grin slowly widened a little as he out powered them, it really felt like playing something akin to Dynasty Warriors, though a part of him did wonder if these imps also were fighting because they thought they had to.
"Alright, Alright, boys isn't this a tad unfair??"
After a moment of the shield trying to deal with the imps it gets annoyed and floats up into the air with flames surrounding it and zooms around them, trying to confuse them before slamming into one and making that one slam into some of the others.

Joker didn't know how to respond to that initially, and as he let her continue on, he really couldn't believe what he was hearing. The King? He didn't care for, but him and his BOSS? Absolutely not. "For... grr, why wasn't I told about this?! What can we do to stop them then?" he said pretty upsetly, he didn't seem to be in the mood for much else besides facts. She could tell how analytical he was being and how he seemed to already be thinking of solutions even without a suggestion.

Sherwyn smirked, the metal imps charging at her easily rebuffed by a few quick thrusts from her shield. She aimed a kick at their stubby legs, leaving them to squirm in the dirt while she swept her sword to the side to keep the others away from her. There was another person fighting behind her, his identity revealed by the floating shield that circled around them. A really dead person. She didn’t recognise the troll, but there also was another dead person- Thea. She was supposed to be just a regular amount if dead, although Sherwyn was relatively sure she didn't have a dream self left to resurrect with.
She now had her back to Seth, elbowing him in the ribs. “Seth, you’re supposed to be dead. Really dead.”
She shook her head. ”Regardless, thanks for clearing the field.”

SHWN took a single step forward, stomping into the ground and digging her heel into the fine gravel. She raised a hand towards the imps in front of her, a white light flashing from them and moving to her. She closed her hand around it, yellowed flames cloaking around her. The imps in front of her suddenly felt no need to fight, or even try. A desolation that larger things have failed to overcome now invaded their feeble minds.
She let out a shout, the flames arcing from her body and over her friends, burning at the imps.
She glanced at Thea, moving her shield to a more defensive position. "I thought you died."
She sent a quick message on trollian to a special friend of hers.
et: Looks like your handiwork isn't quite so permanent, J.

Imps burst into grist left and right, the power of the fighters to much for them. What had been meant to test new players had almost instantly become worthless against them, to much strength from the players to even be a threat. Within a few moments, the imps were gone and destroyed, The last one crushed by Pan when it tried to sneak up on Thea. Pan look pleased and began to nuzzle and sniff Elhpie.

A peep came from SHWN's device,a reply

Book top began to vibrate with messages, seeming to have picke dup the enemy team and a bunch of messages from them.

Miss Sol let out a sigh, then poked Joker's nose with the tip of her Parasol. "Need you ask? You simply have to find them, then kill them before they grow to powerful. In fact, a few of them rest within this city." She said, turning and walking away "Of course, you'll have to do that on your own. I was only told to help with the white queen this time. If you need help in the future though, just prepare some tea. Me or my brother will come shortly after." She said, then blinked out of existence with not a single bit of fanfare or theatrics.

Seth looked over at Shwn, seemingly confused to a degree. He remembered what Anri said about Anura... was this how the Troll joined us?

He.. really wanted answers, but judging from how Shwn was speaking she likely doesn't know who she swapped with, or that she swapped to begin with. "Dead huh? Well, that's a change.." he said, it seemed this new face didn't also want his head, which made him relieved to say the least. It seemed someone wasn't completely off about the multiverse theory, as dumb as it sounded to him at first.

"Sorry if the questions seem out of the blue.. but whats your name? And whats the last thing you remember before appearing here and seeing us in a fight?" After asking the question Seth boots up his phone to see if Harlowe or Leonel ever got around to responding to him, still keeping most his eye contact with the new face as to not seem disrespectful.
"So.. theres that name again.. "Master E".. this guy has to be the one pulling all the strings here.. but why?"
The shield after doing its dirty work, seemed to absorb some of the grist before floating back over to Thea and the Troll, since it didn't know what else to do.

Before Joker could ask her what the Children even looked like, she blinked out of existence. This only really fueled his irritation. "What a pain in the ass.." he said lowly, under his breath as his face changed from the more-or-less neutral look he had to one of someone who was pretty angry. He didn't appreciate being touched, twice, and her not answering a very important question made him angrier. Wait. Did she ALSO leave him in the Dungeon area on Derse? Oh for fucks sake. Joker was almost livid, but after putting his hand to his face for a moment or two, he slowly calms down. Anger Management helped him to control his anger in these situations, he just needed to not focus on what was bothering him.

After a sigh, he climbs up the stairs of this Dungeon, making his way towards the exit so he can go home and figure out what he was even gonna do next. If, he can even figure out where his home was..
