"They're nothing but another set of targets," Anri said, their voice clear and unsettling. It was surely directed at Thea, but also to themselves. They were looking out towards the group, but at the same time, not at all, like they were in a separate head space. Much more different than the previous space.

And then they came back.

They then bore a confused look on their face. Did I say something? they thought, raising a hand to their mouth to cover it. It was like they didn't even know that they spoke not only seconds ago, but they were sure they did. Anri then glanced at Thea, mostly looking for a reaction to confirm their belief, and silently hoping it wasn't something bad.

"I'd be cool with that." he said towards Harlowe as he walked off. Seth was kinda let down by this technicality, he thought at least something could give way as to stalling this game, oh well. He looked at the others, noticing that from what he could see some of them didn't want this.. but, well, he wasn't gonna do any of the killing or let his team lose. He was already set on getting back home, but he sure as hell wasn't gonna go on a murder spree to do so. He looked at Anri as she said such an odd phrase, responding by saying "Yeah, um.. you gonna be alright by the way?" She seemed very off to him and she was starting to look more... odd, the more time passed on.

"Tolerable? Eheh, this'll be something, you lug, and tolerable ain't gonna be one of them." She quipped at him, smirking a little despite herself. She turned towards Mister Mani, her weird quasi-challenge now delivered. "An' now you, another tall omnipotent git, you seem to be even less excited for this than we are." She said, commenting on his generally apathetic appearance. "What're you, our keeper or something?"

Mister Mani sighed, appearing infront of Thea in a flash of green. A quick glance though showed that he was currently in two spots, two different Mister Mani existing there. "While yes they are your species, they are in fact not your people. Your people, Miss Feri, are the humans of your world.Your beaverly hills friend, or the Amish boy. Miss Nataka's people are her sister Kiki, her childhood friend Hayato.

Mani looked to Thea, seeming finished "Do not act childish here, your friends and family cannot afford you that luxury." he said, before that copy of Mani disappeared, leaving the original to answer Anura's question.

"It seems your stature hasn't affected you ability to spot the obvious Miss Belmore." Mani said dryly, not bothering to look directly at the dwarf. "More specifically, I am here to make sure you do not break the fabric of reality when you all inevitably begin to realize your powers." he turned his gaze to Anura, staring directly at her briefly, before letting out a sigh and staring back to what he had been before.

The beams of green sun fire crashed down, engulfing both groups briefly before dissapearing, the players of both teams with it. The platform was empty, the children sent to play, and Master E was alone as the sun dulled in color slightly. Silence....only a little longer until it was over.

Thea, Seth, Anri, and Anura now rounds themselves in a new location. A great golden sky streatched out above them, and a warm breeze carresses them as they stood upon flattened earth. There were various machines placed on the flattened ground, with a copy of Mister Mani at each one. In unison, they spoke "This will be your refuge and base. Here you will create your tools and weapons for the coming game. Do not worry, the machines will impart the knowledge in how to use them."

The others disappeared, and the original stepped forward "First, you will find your inventories filled with various random items that would have been there in your original timeline. Use these to begin, and from there yet you will expand. "

He looked at the area, really liking the look of the golden sky, however he gave himself no more than a few moments to admire that and the breeze they were welcomed to. "That's very useful" is what he would say... however, the inventory that he was granted is kind of an unseen blessing and curse at this time. He glanced at his Sylladex, wondering how the hell he was gonna guess the names of all these objects he has no recollection of carrying.. but that's an issue for later. "Thank you for telling us." he said. Seth immediately started guessing a random jumble of letters to see if he could retrieve something from his Hangman Modus.

Hangman Modus Process:

After a while he retrieves what seems to be a Spirit Buckler, it looks like some kind of shield from what you can tell. Oh well, regardless he switches out his current weapon, a Dartboard, and  Captchalogue's it. Okay, that's just annoying. For the time being I'm just gonna.. Seth thought as he went to the back of his Modus, flipping a switch and setting the options to: Hide Characters [N], and Quick Retrieve [Y]. Now that you search through you seem to have a ton of different items that you can make use of, a spare pair of clothes seeming the most interesting. You'll be sure to make something with it at your earliest convenience, Orange doesn't really fit this situation at all. That being said, he goes and starts fiddling with the machines, almost as if he already knows how they work, being sure not to hog any of them while he crafts his random stuff in case the others want something made as well.
"Lets get this party started shall we?"

She stepped a single foot back when approached by Mr. Mani. Glaring slightly at him for the moment before her eyes softened, thinking about her friends..She wasn't being childish. was she? She crossed her arms as he vanished, going on to speak to the others. She just didn't understand how she was meant to just.. ignore the fact that they wanted them to kill their own kind.

Thea's eyes burned for only a moment, she have them a ruff rubbed after being engulfing only to open her eyes to a much kinder sky.. She let her self relax  and smile, feeling the nice breeze flow threw her hair, making her turn towards it and open her arms to welcome it. Gosh it felt nice! She could just lay back and enjoy it, but it looked like they needed to go threw the things in their Sylladex.

She to glanced at her full Sylladex, guess it was worth going through. Now she could totally just start guessing spells of her Spell book Modus, but she flipped it on over, looking at her options she chose EJECT. And it did exactly as it said, Ejecting all objects on to the ground around her in one big mess of a pile. "... Oh" She really wasn't to surprised but slightly stunned. She rubbed at the back of her neck, then began to go through the mess she mad- HEY look her lap top, great! She was looking for that.

Anri looked out at the newer surroundings. If they had to be honest, the habit of suddenly changing scenery was starting to bug them. Oh well, this should be the last time it happens.

They took a moment to inspect the peculiar machines, scratching their chin idly and looking towards Seth. After watching him do what he was doing, they figured they might as well try it out themselves. Reaching into their back pocket, they pulled out a spring green device, and they turned it on. It started up with a distinct tone, and the screen read:

Welcome back, Miss Richmond.

The sylladexP was opened to the Weaponry tab, which was excellent. Anri scrolled through the tab, finding one of the two particular items; their rapier. They tapped on it, and the confirmation screen came up.

Confirmation:

A glowing, green string materialized from seemingly nowhere and fell into Anri's waiting palm. They tucked the sylladexP into their left pocket, and put the glowing string around their neck. It honestly didn't take them long to finish the the string figure. Years and years of practice made it so easy! Once Anri has finished the Cheating the Hangman, the string blinked green a couple of time, and morphed into the rapier, which fell to the ground with a ringing 'CLINK'.

Anri got the sylladexP out again, this time opening the Clothing tab, and then the Accessory tab filed under it.

Confirmation:

The process was repeated again, and the belt fell with a 'THUMP' beside its companion. Anri grabbed both the belt and the sheathed rapier, and slid the sword down into the hanger's slot. All set with their gear, they went into their Clothing tab again, and then into the Outfit tab. It was time to change out of their fencing garb anyway. Rascal gave a quiet protest as their plastron was stripped away, and placed on the ground where he was placed on top of it.

Anura was about to spit back with an insult related to her ability to hit particular areas due to her 'stunted' height. Right as the first words left her lips, she found herself in a new, much more stressful location. The open skies always made her feel terribly uncomfortable - like she could just fall off the face of the world. She quickly reached into her sylladex and pulled out her ceremonial mask, done up to look like the face of one of her ancestors - stern face glaring out at the world with two jewels embedded into the iron mask's forehead. It was a fairly humble mask, she'll admit, but it made her feel much more comfortable.

"Oooh, well alright then." Her snips were forgotten at the prospect of crafting. None of these things looked like her traditional forces, but went over to some of the machines, listening to their tutorials and finding it childishly simple. There wasn't even any hard labor to be done or forges to be heated - just plug in the components and get something new. She experimented with her hammer and her anvil, and a few moments later gaining a long metal shaft with a small anvil at the end. She grunted as she tried to lift it - it was far heavier than her other hammer, and could do some serious damage to anyone it was hit by - if she didn't dislocate her damn arms using it.

"Huh. Now this I can work with."

As Seth continued to craft his selection of items he equipped the new clothes while other weren't looking, also changing his eye contacts during this time to not reveal his real eye color either.

While he was crafting and Captchaloguing a ton of new stuff he noticed his shield was floating about and following him, as if there were a magic property to it. He found that rather neat all things considered.

After all that random creating was over, he looked over to see the others barely getting started, though it seems Anri didn't need much and Anura already had.. ... was that an Anvil-Hammer? He didn't know why she made it, but she looked content with it. Seth made his way over to Mister Mani. "So, whats up? You seem pretty bored watching over us." He said to him, looking over at the rest of his team while making small talk, if MM was gonna be on their team even if only a little while he might as well talk to him.
"This guy looks weird, whats his deal anyways??"

Anri hummed a nameless tune, browsing the Outfit tab for one of their favorites. Their one outfit they chose was one of their nicer dress shirts, a pair of slacks, and a nice pair of dress shoes. Of course, they didn't want to take out their outfit, and instead tapped the 'flip' icon on the corner of the captchalog card. The code for the captchalog card was there, and they copied it to the SylladexP's clipboard.

They left the Clothing tab and headed to the Room tab, and under that, the Wall Decor. tab. It took some scrolling before they found what they were looking for; the Ingo Montoya poster. It was a poster they got for their... which was it now? Maybe eleventh birthday? It was a blur, but whatever, that was just another day. It was signed by his actor, Mandy Patinkin, and it was almost as dear to their heart as their ancient coin was.

Using the captchalog codes from both items, Anri alchemized a new outfit: the Satin Swashbuckler. Equipping the Satin Swashbuckler, Anri's fencing garb had been switched with the new outfit, and the garb captchaloged into the SylladexP.

The loose clothing felt nice, and they walked around in their heeled boots to make sure that it wasn't too complicated to walk steadily. Once that was checked out, they strapped their weapon on their person, and tucked the SylladexP into the red sash. Maybe the get-up was too fancy, but it felt nice on the body.

Now that they had a new wardrobe, they couldn't really think they would possibly make next. It's amazing to combine items to make awesome loot itself, but before they could sit there and think more on what to make, they had to inquire about something.

"Mister Mani, what are we going to do for shelter? From what I see, there isn't exactly a house for what looks like..... miles from where we are."

Thea felt her heart tighten, gosh.. this sucked. She wondered what they were thinking? She hoped they didn't think that she abandoned them.. Or maybe they couldn't think at all.. maybe they are.. She didn't want to think about that. She shut her laptop and began to get to work on her so called 'loot'.

Thea tosses a few more things together before finishing up. not wanting to make to many things, surely they can come back and make shit. She wanted to keep on her only what was important. The wand... sure? Healing stones a few candles because you never know what will come of it..

She stood back, thinking she did rather well! Super indeed.. but her laptop was alot to carry around.. she wasn't sure what to make of it. Ah great idea!!

Thea looks around to see what everyone else is up too. Making her way towards Seth to see what he was talking to that.. thing about.

Mister Mani sighed as the children began to gather around him, crossing his arms as he stood waiting. "To inform you Mister Seth, I long ago lost any capacity to care about this game. I am merely here to perform my function, and that means...baby sitting." He said, seeming more and more against being there.

"As for shelter, that is your problem. Sleep where you want, how you want. It doesn't matter, as the coming trials will leave very little time to enjoy such things."

Seth would keep in mind Mr. Mani's position in all of this for later reference, however for the time being he would just continue normally talking with him. "I can understand the feeling to a certain degree. My friends back where I'm from made me feel like their caretaker all too often." He remembered all the times Carol and Josh butted heads, all the times that Kira and Evan got in arguments, and all the times that well, the memos were filled with huge debates of random shit.. and y'know, those times weren't half bad in retrospect. He dwelled on these memories for no more than a few seconds before asking Mister Mani a more Mani seeming question. "How was the introduction with the other team, did they cause you any problems?"
"Wait are you seriously having a chat with this weirdo?? Wait why are these things even here?!? Didn't we..?"

Thea came up behind seth and wrapped an arm around his shoulder, a bright smile towards him and Mr. Mani. "Srry to intrude" she wasn't sorry. She was looking to be in the conversation as well. "I heard "baby sitter" and I feel th need to tll yu that at least i don't need a babysitter." She chuckled looking between Seth and Mr. Mani. "I agree with Seth's question tho, wat bout the others?"

While not happy with the answer, Anri was satisfied, and left the other two people to ask more questions to the agitated entity. They knew well enough to leave an annoyed adult alone from first-hand experience.

Anri shuddered, and pushed the memory back down.

Instead, they traveled a little ways away from the party, away from the machines and on their own, with Rascal soon following at their heels. Not too far, though, since they had a team to stick with. Speaking of which; how was their team back home doing? In all honesty, they didn't even mark Jack, Yuri, or Dana as friends, but there's still that nagging worry. Anri did feel more concerned for Yuri, though.

Anri, alone with their thoughts, began setting up a small camp for themselves. It had been close to night time before they were transported into that mysterious building with their new group, and they were exhausted from their panic attacks and stress that had happened there. Though they don't know how much rest they would get because of the - quote, unquote - trials. Would that happen days from now? Tomorrow? Within the next few hours?

More stressing thoughts were pushed on the back-burner in their mind. They then grabbed their SylladexP started deploying a temporary set-up, starting with a pre-made tent (tall enough to walk into, and big enough for three). They went inside, and began to set up more things; a sleeping bag, a latern, a star-patterned comforter, three fleece blankets of various designs, a total of five pillows, and a nice ferret bed for Rascal.

Anri looked back, making sure no one had cane into the tent -though they figured no one would - and sent out a final thing. It was a big, stuffed cat, roughly the size of Thea, if not taller. It had spring green fur, and pale yellow paws in the shape of stars. Kitkat, as they had dubbed it, was a birthday present from their father some years ago. It was a genuine suprise, and Anri has taken very good care of it.

Kitkat was put to the side while Anri went to set up their temporary room.

Mister Mani mained tained his aloof demeanor, watching as the children began to gather around him "yes, I am quite aware of your friends Mister Seth. Of course, You did a 'wonderful' job acting as their mediator." He said, his voice emphasizing wonderful mockingly, before he continued.

"As for your opponents, they were rather calm. I immediately set down the rules with them about how to deal with me. Surprisingly, Mister Volgan respected these rules." He said, then looked to Thea "One of these rules is of course, refrain of physically touching me. I do not appreciate such gestures, as no doubt my sister has shown you with her own dislike."

As they spoke with one another and Anri prepared her tent, claws hands began to climb up over the edge of the platform that held the teams base. Several imps, each holding a different look based around the items prototyped, gathered at the edge and began to slowly make their way to Anri, who had isolated herself from both her team and the world outside by setting up her tent.

Thea rolled her eye slightly, huffing. " yeh yeh, i learned, touchy touchy." She chuckled slightly, yeah never going to make that mistake again.. She was a little shocked nothing went down with the other team.. But then again she didn't really know them.. Gosh it sucked not to know them. She hated this wall they all had to put up, to pretend the others just didn't matter.. It was annoying.

She shruged slightly, leaning more on Seth waiting to see what he had to say about anything, "I miss my peps as well. Tho i was never their caretker." she shruged ones more, just trying to add to the conversation at this point.

Anura was in her own world, while it wasn't as peaceful as the forges of her home just being able to create things was enough to lull her into a sense of relaxation. She had one idea, seeing everyone else seem to get done with their item creation. It was that alchemiter that was creating all her team mates sweet gear, right? Well, Anura took her anvil and....lets see...

Iron Anvil || Cruxtruder = Creation's Cradle

Oh! Shit! It's an off-white anvil with that strange geometric symbol on the flat head of the anvil. "Huh, dunno what I was expecting." She patted her new toy lovingly, placing it into her sylladex for later use. She had no idea what it did yet, but she assumed it'd let her just create items on the go. That'd make sense, right?

"Oi, take a look at what I made here-" She turned towards her new friends of circumstance, and squinted. Behind her mask her tunnel-adapted eyes were not so hampered by the sunlight, and she managed to see some...strange looking creatures trying to creep up on Anri. Given their ridiculous coloration it was rather foolish of them to try sneaking in the first place!

"Hey too-talls, we got company!" She shouted, grabbing her longaxe and running off to engage these imps.

Anri dropped their plush bedroll, and aimed their SylladexP towards Kitkat. The sound of a camera shutter went off, and the large toy animal disappeared into the device. There was no way they would let him get hurt.

Grabbing the hilt of their rapier, they ran for the tent's one exit, throwing the flap open and withdrawing their weapon. They saw Anura running towards the outer edge of the platform, and their eyes flitted to an enemy just off to the side. Taking a moment to assess the situation, Anri ran to the alien, deciding to reluctantly join Anura at her side for the fight.

"En garde!!"

Seth wondered what latched onto him for the second time, but to no surprise it was Thea. She was a very touchy type of person wasn't she? He didn't mind, but even his sister wasn't this clingy so it came of as odd to him. He chooses to ignore it.

When Mister Mani gave his reply, it made Seth think back for a second. Wait, did I mess up somewhere in my session making it doomed in the process? Or is he just messing with me? Seth didn't really know what to say in return, thus allowing Mani and Thea to make their exchange. After thinking of something he chose to leave it be for now and say "Well, I don't know what I did if anything in my original session, but I'll keep in mind to not mess up in this one." he said, almost being interrupted by Anura's excitement, looking over at her before she cut herself off short. Man, she loves anvils and hammers doesn't she? Well after he gave her new object a good look over he followed her eyes as she yelled that we had company. "Seriously? I thought this was a safe zone. Hm, well no matter. Thea, you can stay here and chat if you want to." He said, being a bit annoyed at these "baby sitters" being horrible at explaining the situations we're in and what the rules are. He couldn't blame Mr. Mani though, the guy already didn't give any for this game to begin with.

Seth ran over to the imps, seeming to be extremely fast on his feet, even getting there before Anura who noticed them first.

"Heehee, time to fight!!"
"Trying to pick us off while we're still new to this, huh?!" Seth said loudly as he runs at them, his shield coming to his arm as if it knows its time to battle. He jumps at a Roman Imp, bashing it upside the head, stunning it and spinning hitting it with the side of his shield to deal a finishing blow, it seems the strength of the shield he had is very high, he intended to hit the imp into another to do damage to both. Oh well. Hearing an "En garde" from behind he knew his team was there, he decided to get them to help out. "Heads up!!" he exclaimed as he ran behind some of the imps, smacking two of the Rubber Imps towards Anri with his shield dealing a good chunk of damage, however these guys seemed to have a little more defense and pushed him back when he hit them so the damage he did to these seemed to be a lot less. They are made of rubber after all, what did you expect? A shield wasn't gonna do much to them. Anyways Seth does the same for Anura, except with her he hits two Feral Imps, he figured furry creatures like those wouldn't stand up to a hammer well. After this he looks at the remaining few imps, standing there scared, and he charges up a throw with his shield, sending it flying at them. When thrown the shield surrounded itself with what looked like blue flames and it seemed to cut through the remaining few imps that had climbed up so far. He picked up the grist of the monsters he defeated, thinking he may need it for later, his shield floating onto his hand again after doing so.
"Hey, whats that silly guy doing behind us?"
Before he checked to see if more were climbing up he surveyed the area and saw a Rubber Imp poking the Alchemiter curiously with.. was that Seth's wireless controller? When did he even drop it? "What the... give me a second." Seth said as he runs over and hits it a few times, this one however got angry and hit him in the head with the controller dealing a little damage. "Ow, just die already. >_>" Seth said annoyed, hitting it one final time defeating it.. but rather than just only dropping grist, this one dropped a strife card containing his controller? He picked it up and registered it to his Strife Deck. When was he gonna need a wireless controller of all things as a weapon? Probably never but hey its a cool prize for a random monster kill so he wasn't gonna complain. Actually, instead what he did was some inspired from what Anura did after being sure to save a copy of his prized controller and the devices he was using just in case they needed them.

"Ooooo, interesting choice there. Whats it do?"
". . . Huh." he said to himself, not necessarily sure what this "Auxiliary Gadget" was gonna do. It seems to have 6 lights lining the bottom of the middle, indicated something he doesn't understand. Whatever, you store it using your Sylladex and equip the Amalgamation Controller to your Controllerkind Strife Card.

Thea stumbled slightly, as seth ran off and stumbled to catch up. Shit already? This was a safe area did they not know the meaning of safe!?  She quickly pulled her Dark clow cards from her Strife specious, pulling the first five cards and tossing them she expected them to just fly at the imps but no, they landed in the air and crucial around her.

She carefully reached out and snatched up the third card, flipping it over revealing The Big Summoning from the card a extremely tall, slim and lithe, blue-colored youth woman. She war a medieval princess dress, draped in al cognate shades of blue with long sleeves that obscure her hands and divined atop of her head.  She moved quickly to Thea tickling her nose and making her sneeze, her body suddenly growing to towering hight, like some sick wonderland gag. She blinked in confusion, shit.. now what!?

the slain imps burst into gusher looking gems, their bodies disappearing. However, from the side, more creatures began to climb, now more rapidly as they had noticed their cover had been blown. Of course, the appearance of the hammer wielding dwarf and the absolutely fucking massive girl. Thea now standing roughly six stories, and in her very pretty dress looked like an elegant goddess of destruction as her steps shook the entire platform.

However, flying from her, two cards appeared. One shot straight for Seth, smacking against him and then enacting it's magic. Immediately, Seth shrank down to about a foot tall, the Imps now towering over him.

The second card shot into the sky and brought storm clouds, and then with a flash, lightning began to strike the platform at random. One bit of lightning hit an Imp, and super charged it. The Imp now began to float, with power coursing through it's form, as it lifted a hand and fired a lightning bolt at Anura, striking the dwarfs hammer and sending electricity through it and her.

Throughout all of this, Mister Mani stood exactly where he had been left, seeming to calmly wait for things to calm. Lightning struck him, but he was not affected at all, the man clearly undamaged by the environmental attack.

Anri reared back, eyeing the on-coming enemies. They didn't see Thea grow, but boy, did they feel it when the platform began to shake. The cards were of no help either, causing Seth to shrink, and super-charging an imp that had struck Anura's hammer. Anri couldn't help but cut a nasty glare towards Thea; her assistance was hurting them more than it helped! They had it in their right mind to yell at her to stay behind, but refrained from it. If they lost their cool during the fight, it would take a while before they could get back into it.

They swordsman merely shook their head, getting back into the fight and thrusting towards one of the Rubber Imps, aiming to skewer it right in it's sparkly eye with deadly precision.

To Anura's eternal shame, she dropped her hammer on reflex as she felt the first jolt of electricity hit her. Blinking for a few seconds trying to process what just happened was her next mistake. Despite her bravado and militant culture she had never actually...been in a real fight, only trained just in case she was ever ambushed.

It was time to learn on the fly! It was like forging, right?

Anura is angry.:

In this case, she'll have to learn to forge with her fists, she immediately punched the imp to her left, putting all of her weight into the blow. She was still frazzled by the blast of lightning, keeping her from doing anything more complex. It was a wonder she could even maneuver at all!

Seth got whacked in the side by a card that flew from Thea's pile.
The shield dodged the attack. "I'd rather you be small, sorry!! But hey at least your weapons not smaller right??"
"Ow, what the...?" Seth said as he got knocked down many feet by "The Small". Are you kidding me..?? Who even... Thea what the heck did you do?! Seth thought to himself as he glanced over to Thea, seeing her towering over everything. Seth was gonna have to get creative with this..

Music:

"You know, I'd make a short joke, but my puns are LOW in stock today! ;D ... Yeah okay I know that one was bad, but at least I tried!!"
Seth stared at 2 imps that were glancing at him, one seemed to still be afraid, but the other challenges you to battle. He had a feeling the controller would be too big for him to try using, so instead he keeps the magical seeming shield for battle, it seems to be ready to guard any attack for him. Did it feel bad for not blocking the card? Who knows. He dodges a few swipes from the Feral Imp that engaged him until he gets hit once across the arm, causing you to slightly bleed. Seth retaliates by jumping back and running at it full force, punching it hard in the gut, the shield coming in from behind him to whack it upside the head, knocking it over. He jumps up and slams the shield down on it finishing it off. The other Imp, a Rubber one, runs off due to fear. Seth was not about to engage another Imp right now, not while he was so small. He takes some Standard Band-Aids out of his Sylladex and applies two of them, since these cheap things are kinda tiny. They'd suffice. Seth looks around very cautiously, making sure to not let anything sneak up on him.
