She let her friends know of the accident, before turning around and—as gently as possible—pushed the limp Stag into the glowy thing. It became brighter, blinding her for a moment.

Cilion heard a loud boom and screeching noise that sounded like a bird. He thought it sound like his lusus, Eagledad.

EJ: brb gotta check on my lusus.

He ran downstairs and outside. The first thing he say was his eagle-lusus lying dead outside with a pile of rocks on his back. Rocks from the mountain he lives by must have fallen on his lusus and crashed him into the ground. Maybe living by a mountain wasn't the smartest choice.

He knelt next to his dead lusus, refusing to show any kind of sadness. He gently set his hand on the eagle-lusus's head.

Satura quickly hopped out of the trajectory of her chair.

TT: EeP!!!

She picked up the dowel. It was quite shiny and pretty. It could be used to power up her inventions, but she didn't think it should be wasted on that right now.

Leo stuck his tongue out in a general direction, not sure which direction she could see him from.

Cervid would have said " he would have died nonetheless", if not for her StagDad appearing from the flashy thing. She gave him a hug, almost impaling herself in the eye with his antlers.

Sadness gone, she set to work on carving her dowel. She had about less than half an hour to go. When she looked outside, she could see sparkly stars that had not been there before. She had to hurry into the medium.

Ve cradled Antmom's head for about a minute more before deciding ve had wasted enough time. Others were counting on vis.
Ve messaged Cilion
NS: Can yu drooop my Trooll Harry Pootter set oon the cruxtruder?

Cilion didn't know Leenar messaged him because he was outside. He decided to prototype the kernel sprite with Eagledad. It was the least he could do for the giant bird. Cilion was sure that if the lusus were alive, he would be cawing loudly, which Cilion would then assume meant "thank you." But he's not alive and that's how he got into this mess after all. He quickly removed all the rocks and picked up his lusus. Cilion could hold the heavy body, but only for a short amount of time. He turned around to find the kernel sprite sitting there, just like he expected it to be. With a might heave, Cilion tossed the body into the kernel sprite.

AO: i'm sorry your lusus is dead, cer|/id.
AO: but you should probably start doing some stuff.
AO: you know, like taking that cruxite dowel and this card

Leopli quickly swam out, searching and calling for his Narwhal lusus. Some trolls said he had a weird lusus. He loved him none-the-less.

Lee noticed nothing had happened so far and decided to connect to ver client player. Ve opened the link and connected to KT, deploying as ve did so the many large contraptions and the card.

kleptoTiercel [kT] stopped responding to memo.

Aquila cradled his dead Lusus in his arms, his Husktop having just crashed into the ground far below in response to him throwing himself towards his Lusus, who had just been hit by an arrow. "That bastard," he muttered, trying, and failing, to hold back tears. The Troll that had attacked them before and forced them to run had followed them, and had attacked from the trees that surrounded the hive. Another arrow hit the roof next to Aquila, and with another curse he headed inside, pulling out his knives as he began to descend.

EJ: whoa did you just talk?
Eaglesprite: i screeeeed and then i talked, yes.
EJ: oh.
EJ: awesome!
Eaglesprite: hurry and enter the medium so we can have lots of adventures together!

With newly found motivation, Cilion took out his spearkind weapon and raised it above his head while letting out a wicked battle cry. Eaglesprite screeeeed behind him, striking an awesome eagle pose.

Lee say what was happening form ver husktop and grabbed part of the crumbling wall, tossing it at the intruders. Ve growled, ve really had no patience for people who would force another troll out of their home, temporary or otherwise.

Not long after every other troll, aside from Leo who was still searching, she found her sweet little Owl-mom on the lawn right outside of her Hive. It looked like she had gotten into a fight with another lussi. She supposed that she might as well prototype her Kernel Sprite with her dead lusus. She lightly tossed the corpse into the dazzling kernel sprite.

Leo was getting frantic in his search. Where was his lusus?!

AO: mine hasn't died yet.
AO: maybe because i haven't started working towards getting in the medium yet?

NS: Could be, but I hope you won't lose them.
Lee sat at ver computer, waiting for ver server to respond. Ve looked over the cruxtuder, maybe she could loosen it visself.
Ve took Deathly Hallows and smacked it down as hard as ve could, and a teal glowing orb, rose flashing out of it.

Aquila crouched behind part of a wall, using an old, cracked mirror to watch the entrance. The Troll soon entered, holding a bow with an arrow knocked and looking around warily. As he moved further into the ruin, and away from Aquila, the Thief of Void darted from his hiding place, towards the murderer. The other Troll spun, hearing his footsteps, but was too late. Aquila crashed into him, sending them both to the floor and trapping the bow between them. "Die, bastard," Aquila snarled, his face contorted in anger and hate. He stabbed his knives into each of the murderers eyes, leaving them there as he searched the items the Troll had brought with him, hoping he had a husktop, since his own was now destroyed. Thankfully he found one, and quickly reconnected to the memo.

kleptoTiercel [kT] responded to memo

kT: I'm back.
kT: My... my Lusus was just killed.

Cilion decided it was time to go back and check on his friends. He walked back into his house with Eaglesprite close behind. He walked over to his husktop and sat at it.

EJ: sorry leenar. had some lusus business to take care of.
EJ: my lusus died, but now he's alive again.
EJ: so it's all good.
EJ: now what did you need again?

Leopli merely picked up his dowel and card and began carving a totem for what looked like an electric hand buzzer. Weird.

Satura looked around. Oh, there's the Totem Lathe! She skipped a few paces over and put in the car and dowel. Everything looked to be in order once again.

Ve cranked the handle and a teal bar of cruxite fell out. Ve then threw the large Ant Lusus iinto the floating sprite.

EJ: didn't you say your lusus wasn't dead?

Cilion turned his attention back to Leenar.

EJ: hold on let me look for it.
EJ: it's right here, safe and sound.

He held the card out in front of Leenar.

Ve takes the card and slid it in the totem lathe. Ve then hoisted the cruxite into place and smiled as ver lusussprite floated behind vis.

Leo played off his panic. He didn't really want people to worry about him or his lusus-based problems.

Aquila retrieved his knives from the dead Troll, wiping the purple off on his shirt as he walked away. He collected his card and made his way to his Cruxtruder.

EJ: so what do you think you're going to alchemize?
EJ: i alchemized a glass cube but I have no idea what to do with it.
EJ: my timer is getting really close to zero and i still don't know what to do.

AO: i'm sure your lusus will turn up.
